SAP Solution: Digital transformation

Seven years of S/4 Hana - actually a reason to celebrate. But not for customers who have not yet taken the long and expensive step there.
Digitization is taking hold in all business areas and is being driven forward massively in most industries. There is a need to catch up in this respect in the financial organization, where too little has been invested in automation in recent years.
The increasing interconnectedness of the digital world is already shaping our future. Companies like Amazon, Google, Uber and others have shown that classic on-prem billing systems have passed their peak.
Application Management Services are an essential part of digital transformation. They help companies to operate and manage software and IT services more efficiently in order to achieve their goals.
Digital best practices for SMEs and larger companies The DIGITAL FUTUREcongress (DFC) focuses on current software solutions, forward-looking technologies and success stories at a compact face-to-face event on the diverse potentials of business digitization. The format offers trends and impulses on the topics of digital transformation, operational management, HR organization and process optimization with the help of ChatGPT, AI,...
Processes such as supply chains, warehousing, operations, trading, reporting, manufacturing, human resources, and especially finance converge in the central ERP like nerve cords in a brain. Ergo, companies strive to maintain this core tool, keeping it up to date and transforming it to a new level when necessary.
Digital services and processes must transform: Data exchange, automation and a new platform idea with a foundation of powerful interfaces will open up new potential for the business processes of the future.
But while SAP is celebrating the digital transformation with S/4 at one pole, existing customers are trying to keep the IT infrastructure and ERP architecture running at the other pole.
S/4 is the all-dominant topic in the SAP industry community and a transformation towards the new software is said to be the strategy of the future for industrial companies.
The sustainability of supply chains is becoming increasingly important. At the beginning of this year, the "Act on Corporate Due Diligence in Supply Chains", or Supply Chain Act (LkSG), came into force in Germany.
The digital transformation of many SAP customers focuses on the migration to S/4. In view of scarce resources, there is a need for efficient implementation of the migration and subsequent upgrades.
Almost all German executives in different industries see their company on a good path to mastering the digital transformation despite hurdles and challenges.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
