SuccessConnect: Integrated AI for HCM Suite

New innovations and integrated artificial intelligence for the entire SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite should enable companies to increase efficiency and create unique user experiences. "We are not integrating AI in a vacuum. These innovations will provide SAP SuccessFactors customers with unique insights and reliable results," promises Dan Beck, President and Chief Product Officer for SuccessFactors solutions.
AI career recommendations
Skills continue to be a topic of concern for managers. As the analyst firm Gartner reports, there is "uncertainty about existing and missing skills - only eight percent of companies have reliable data on which skills are currently available in the workforce and which have the greatest impact on business success."
SAP has also introduced enhancements for the Talent Intelligence Hub. This solution provides companies with a centralized skills management system for improved career development and strategic workforce planning. Customers can now merge and harmonize data from third-party solutions in the Talent Intelligence Hub so that all employees across the company can use a single view of their skills.
SAP has also introduced the SuccessFactors Career and Talent Development solution. This fully integrated offering combines the powerful capabilities of the SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development solution with the SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace solution and is based on skills data from the Talent Intelligence Hub. This innovative solution enables employees to set career goals that match their personal aspirations and business needs. By exploring career paths, employees can map their skills to current and aspirational roles and get ready for the next step in their career. These updates are complemented by new features based on generative AI that improve the employee experience throughout the talent lifecycle. For example, the AI features make it easier for managers to create AI-powered 360-degree assessments that provide employees with meaningful information and a feedback summary explaining their strengths and areas for improvement. SAP's AI assistant Joule can guide employees through the onboarding process. For example, it recommends relevant meetings and guides them step by step through data checks, forms and e-signatures.

These innovations will provide SuccessFactors customers with unique insights and reliable results.

AI for core payroll processes
SAP is the market leader with powerful global HR core solutions that provide customers with country-specific content and support and are designed to comply with local regulations - in more countries than any other HR cloud solution provider: 104 for the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution and 52 for the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solution. By integrating AI into all of these products, companies can develop a better employee experience while freeing up HR professionals who previously spent a lot of time processing service tickets.
From the first half of 2025, employees will be able to ask the AI assistant Joule complex questions about their payroll and receive contextually relevant answers. In addition, SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll will now include enhanced features for the Payroll Control Center to manage tasks in the payroll process and improve budgeting and control for public sector customers. "HR leaders need to deliver world-class, sustainable and personalized employee experiences," said Zachary Chertok, Senior Research Manager for Employee Experience at IDC.
"On both sides, leaders must continuously align employee development paths, goals and motivators with ever-changing business objectives and key results, goals and key outcomes. From AI-powered modeling and forecasting to dynamic skills mapping and assessment, the latest releases of SAP SuccessFactors set new standards for optimizing employee experiences and aligning them with business goals and needs."
