SAP PI/PO to Be Phased Out: FIS Supports Migration to Successor Solution
SAP is discontinuing maintenance for Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) in the foreseeable future. Therefore, it is now time to migrate to a successor solution such as SAP Integration Suite. FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting supports companies in this process - and with FIS/xee even offers its own tool for Business Process Integration as an alternative or supplement to the SAP solution.
SAP will discontinue maintenance for Process Integration and Process Orchestration in 2027. Migration to a successor solution such as SAP Integration Suite is therefore mandatory, but also offers opportunities. For example, the Suite offers a steadily growing pool of predefined solutions (predefined content) that companies can use to implement new topics at high speed. To ensure that the migration to a successor solution succeeds without time pressure and with high quality, FIS recommends starting project planning now.
Together with the customer, FIS defines a toolbox of integration tools. Furthermore, the system landscape is structured by means of a technology map and the formulation of use case patterns. The partnership between the customer and FIS does not end with the migration: The support team looks after the landscape on a permanent basis, can implement scenarios independently at peak times and also take on regular tasks such as monitoring and troubleshooting.
