New impulses for the working world
The conference will take place from November 20 to 23, 2018 in Nuremberg and will cover the current trend topics DevOps, DSGVO and IT law, data analytics, cloud, innovation and work culture. Around 2000 participants are expected.
The focus of the annual conference of the German Oracle User Group (DOAG) is on the numerous user reports and best practices of the national and international speakers.
Over the course of three days, around 450 specialist presentations will provide an opportunity for comprehensive training and to pick up lots of tips and tricks for day-to-day work. SAP experts are also catered for with a large number of presentations.
Development Update, insights into implementation or further exciting field reports provide the necessary know-how. Highlights of the conference are the keynotes on the world of work. Labor researcher Professor Lars Vollmer wants to break with the everyday working life dominated by meetings and demands:
"Enough with the business theater!" Jean-Philippe Hagmann, an expert in radical innovation, also calls for a rethink and offers tips on how companies can succeed in building a positive corporate culture.
Last but not least, the cloud is finding its way more and more into the corporate world - Axel Pols, Managing Director at Bitkom Research, uses this year's "Cloud Monitor" study to explain how German companies can better exploit the potential of the cloud.
IT law topics in particular will also not be neglected: The DOAG Legal Council, founded in spring and consisting of specialized, independent attorneys, will address the topics of licensing in virtualization technologies, audits, data protection and cloud contracts in two panel discussions and other presentations. Numerous community activities as well as the traditional evening event on Wednesday will also provide a suitable framework for networking.
