Minsait Wins AWS Award as "Rising Star Partner of the Year"
"[This award] confirms the excellent work that Minsait and AWS have been doing together for years. Our commitment to innovation in business, both in data security and in scaling operations to the cloud and promoting artificial intelligence to accelerate processes, allows us to position ourselves in a prominent position from which we can accompany companies in their digital revolution. Working with a strategic partner like AWS helps us to offer the best digital solutions adapted to the real needs of customers and to compete in a global environment increasingly characterized by uncertainty and change." Luis Abril, Managing Director of Indra and CEO of Minsait.
The Rising Star Partner of the Year 2024 award recognizes Minsait's work in a year in which the company has already achieved several milestones using developments on the AWS technology base, such as the AI Book, a platform for creating summaries and personalized content with AI, which is ideal for industries that need quick access to relevant information. AI Book also enables online queries and generates summaries tailored to each user, which can optimize research time and facilitate access to important data. This development was recognized with the AWS GenAI Innovative Solution, an award Minsait received during the AWS Partner Summit, an annual AWS event where the company also received another award: the AWS Migrations Prospecting Hero, for the company that creates the most valuable cloud migration opportunities.
In addition to the aforementioned AI Book, AWS and Minsait have collaborated on other projects, such as the migration of the reservation system of Minor Hotels Europe and Americas - formerly NH Hotel Group - to Amazon Web Services and the strategy and execution of data and process migration at BBVA. In the energy sector, both companies have worked with Iberdrola to implement the first cloud-based management system that enables the operation and monitoring of the critical infrastructure of a country's entire electricity grid from the cloud, in collaboration with Energuate, Guatemala's electricity supplier and one of the largest in Central America. Minsait's SCADA system was installed there, an electricity control system that includes a technological infrastructure that enables automatic resource allocation and also adjusts resources based on consumption.
