Celonis Center of Excellence
Consulting and advisory firm Accenture has been working with Mann und Hummel since 2019 to further expand its data and analytics capabilities. In cooperation with Celonis, the execution management provider, Accenture is now increasing its focus on improving Mann and Hummel's process quality through new data-driven analytics to enable better business results. As part of the strategic collaboration between the three companies, Celonis' technology will be rolled out across the group.
Celonis will also accelerate Mann und Hummel's S/4 Hana system migration and provide support throughout the integration process. By applying Celonis' technology, Mann und Hummel will be able to increase the standardization of its processes, reduce manual effort, mitigate project risks, minimize business disruption, and be better prepared for the migration to S/4.
"We look forward to supporting Mann and Hummel on their journey to becoming a data-driven company and helping them establish a sustainable operating model"says Bastian Nominacher, co-founder and co-CEO of Celonis. "With our joint approach focused on creating value, we have already been able to take Mann and Hummel's transformation a decisive step forward in just a few weeks and lay the foundation for the company's standardization roadmap. We support every phase of the S/4 migration by using data-driven insights to address inefficiencies, improve user satisfaction, and enable better business outcomes before, during, and after S/4 implementation."
To accelerate the transformation, Celonis and Accenture are helping Mann und Hummel establish a Celonis Center of Excellence (CCoE, not to be confused with SAP's CCoE, Customer Center of Expertise). Jean-Marc Erieau, Program Lead at Mann and Hummel, is responsible for strategic implementation and will work with Accenture to drive change management and governance for the enterprise-wide rollout of Celonis. The CCoE will ensure a synchronized approach, accelerate planning and implementation, and enable the exchange of all relevant experts.
"Building on the strong analytic foundation we have created together over the past three years, the adoption of Celonis is the logical next step and comes at just the right time for Mann and Hummel to be able to optimize processes and reach the next level of digital transformation based on process mining and execution management"says Thomas Rinn, Accenture's Global Industrial Lead. "Mann und Hummel is thus strengthening its position as a digital leader in the industry and generating added value for its own organization, its employees and its customers."
Using Celonis' Execution Management System (EMS), Mann und Hummel gains the insights to understand its core processes in a data-driven manner. Based on these insights, vulnerabilities can be quickly identified. "Our activities and investments in the standardization of our processes are aimed at staying one step ahead of our customers' needs", said Emese Weissenbacher, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Mann and Hummel. "By leveraging Celonis' leading process mining and execution management technologies, we are able to drive smarter, data-driven insights, actions and decisions. I am confident that this transformation will enable us to take our business processes to the next level and create an agile platform for continuous improvement."
