The global and independent platform for the SAP community.

E3 Category: Coverstory 21-05

The digital transformation demands a lot from IT departments. The necessary flexibility is rarely achieved due to many challenges. However, this can be changed if those responsible take an example from the modular structure of the digitization strategy of factories.
The topic of a technical release change dominated the discourse in the SAP community for a long time. The established SAP partners were used to the repetitive procedure of new release with testing, testing and testing. Partners like Devoteam, who are not only successfully anchored in the SAP community, but also successfully maintain other IT partnerships, bring new aspects to existing SAP customers.
Digital transformation is a major challenge for many companies and often appears to be both a blessing and a curse.
In many companies, evolved system architectures have led to digital uncontrolled growth. Taking decisive measures now to enable the implementation of S/4 Hana often seems enormously time-consuming to those responsible.
In the course of the digital transformation, questions regarding cloud providers, on-premises migrations and ROI are in the foreground. In view of the increasing number of digital attacks, cybersecurity should not be ignored either.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
