Et il est clairement perceptible qu'IBM a augment\u00e9 ses activit\u00e9s de vente et de marketing dans l'environnement SAP avec ses serveurs Hana-on-Power (HoP) depuis le d\u00e9but de l'ann\u00e9e environ.<\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement, les syst\u00e8mes HoP bas\u00e9s sur des processeurs Power 8 s'adaptent d'un point de vue technique \u00e0 certaines circonstances ou normes Hana. Le passage de Hana 1.0 \u00e0 Hana 2.0 constitue en quelque sorte un changement d'orientation.<\/p>\n<p>Avec Hana 2.0 et Suse Enterprise Linux Server (SLES) 12 for SAP Applications, les syst\u00e8mes HoP avec processeurs P8 passent de Big Endian \u00e0 Little Endian pour le traitement\/stockage interne des octets, ce qui signifie que tous les syst\u00e8mes serveur Hana ont un traitement\/stockage des octets Little Endian, qu'il s'agisse de syst\u00e8mes Hana-on-Intel ou de syst\u00e8mes Hana-on-Power dans les versions Scale-out et Scale-up.<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, c'est le fabricant du processeur qui d\u00e9termine quel type de traitement, Little Endian ici ou Big Endian l\u00e0, est utilis\u00e9. Les processeurs Sparc ou les processeurs de Motorola - et jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent \u00e9galement IBM - utilisent le traitement Big Endian ; les processeurs Intel, en revanche, utilisent depuis toujours le traitement Little Endian.<\/p>\n<h3>Little first<\/h3>\n<p>Le type de traitement choisi n'a aucune influence sur les performances ou la vitesse d'un processeur. Big Endian signifie \"big end first\" et signifie que le tri et le stockage des donn\u00e9es dans un processeur, par exemple un nombre \u00e0 plusieurs chiffres incluant des lettres (champ de donn\u00e9es multi-octets), se fait du plus grand au plus petit.<\/p>\n<p>Pour le traitement Little-Endian (\"little end first\"), c'est le cas inverse, \u00e0 savoir du petit au grand. Le changement Big-Endian-Little-Endian signifie en substance deux choses : une certaine uniformisation pour les serveurs Hana \u00e0 partir de Hana 2.0, mais aussi une proc\u00e9dure plus simple \u00e0 l'avenir lors de la mise \u00e0 disposition\/du portage d'un syst\u00e8me d'exploitation par exemple, car un seul type de traitement - \u00e0 savoir Little Endian - doit \u00eatre pris en charge.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cas de SLES for SAP et HoP, cela commence avec la version 12. SLES for SAP 11 (SP4) supporte \u00e9galement les syst\u00e8mes HoP avec Big Endian. Si Hana 1.0 pr\u00e9supposait NetWeaver 7.40, Hana 2.0 pr\u00e9suppose la version 7.50.<\/p>\n<h3>Haute disponibilit\u00e9 et reprise apr\u00e8s sinistre<\/h3>\n<p>Avec SLES for SAP 12 de Suse, les syst\u00e8mes Hana-on-Power peuvent pour la premi\u00e8re fois profiter des nouveaut\u00e9s qui y sont li\u00e9es. Il s'agit par exemple d'une fonctionnalit\u00e9 High Availability (HA) et Disaster Recovery (DR) automatis\u00e9e et \u00e9tendue.<\/p>\n<p>Pour la HA, SAP fournit notamment des m\u00e9canismes de r\u00e9plication du syst\u00e8me SAP Hana (SR), dont la manipulation et l'utilisation sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement manuelles. La solution Suse High Availability Solution (HAE) de SLES 12 permet d'augmenter le niveau de service gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'automatisation.<\/p>\n<p>La solution HA centrale pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e pour SAP Hana est la r\u00e9plication du syst\u00e8me via un Memory Preload dans un cluster (par exemple un cluster \u00e0 2 n\u0153uds).<\/p>\n<h3>Agents de ressources Hana<\/h3>\n<p>Les agents de ressources (RA) SAP Hana pour les configurations en cluster constituent un autre point fort de SLES for SAP 12.
