Mendix strengthens sales team in the DACH region<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Renk<\/strong> has been responsible for sales of the Mendix Low Code platform in German-speaking countries as Sales Director for the non-industrial sector since the beginning of May. In his role as Director Enterprise Sales at Mendix, he is responsible for the continuous expansion of sales in the non-industrial sector in the DACH region. The provider of professional low-code development for enterprises has thus brought an experienced salesperson on board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Especially companies in areas such as retail, logistics or finance as well as organizations in the public sector can benefit enormously from low-code technology\"<\/em>Renk explains. \"There is great potential there that still needs to be leveraged. I'm looking forward to contributing to supporting these industries in their digital transformation in my new role.\"<\/em> <\/p>

With a degree in business informatics and computer engineering, he began his career in the early nineties at Comparex Informationssysteme, where he trained hardware and software developers. In the years that followed, he held numerous management positions in sales and service at well-known software companies, including SPSS, Broadvision and i:FAO. At ComScore, he also helped build the digital analytics division and was instrumental in driving the EMEA business. Most recently, Renk was responsible for sales of Adobe's customer experience solutions in the retail, e-commerce, fashion and engineering, and public sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

T-Systems appoints new Gaia-X Chairman<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Maximilian Ahrens<\/strong>, Chief Technology Officer of T-Systems, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gaia-X initiative. Deutsche Telekom, with its IT services unit T-Systems, is one of the 22 founding members of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Build an ecosystem to ensure European data sovereignty\"<\/em>said Maximilian Ahrens and added: \"The new Board of Directors will play a key role in shaping the further development of Gaia-X services and the structure of the organization.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The member companies took part in an electronic vote in which a total of 26 Board members were elected from a list of 64 candidates. The term of office is two years. Maximilian Ahrens succeeds Hubert Tardieu, who led the founding process of the Gaia-X organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Board of Directors decides on important matters of the Gaia-X Association, while CEO Francesco Bonfiglio and his management team run the day-to-day business of the pan-European initiative. Gaia-X commits its members to creating common standards and building an open-source, sovereign digital infrastructure for Europe. It was announced by the German and French Ministries of Economic Affairs in October 2019 and the Association for Data and Cloud (AISBL) was officially founded in January 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WSW Software strengthens management team<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With Thorsten Sydow<\/strong> WSW Software is appointing an experienced sales and marketing expert to the management team for the newly created role of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. With this step, the IT service provider from Gauting is adapting its management structure to future growth plans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WSW Software's core business is the development and sale of IT solutions for production, logistics, customs and foreign trade as well as business analytics. Thorsten Sydow's responsibilities include expanding new business, entering new industries and strengthening relationships with existing customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thorsten Sydow has been associated with the IT industry for over 20 years. During his career, he has held management positions at well-known companies such as SAP, IDS Scheer and Salt Solutions. He has also been actively involved in Bitkom for many years, currently as Chairman of the Marketing & Events working group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sydow himself says about his new position: \"I have gotten to know and appreciate WSW Software since 2012 as a subsidiary of Salt Solutions. I am therefore particularly pleased to now be supporting WSW's growth course.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growth at Workday in Germany<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Uta Ernst-Diarra<\/strong> is the new Managing Director at Workday in Germany. In her new position, she reports to Rudi Richter, Regional Vice President for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ernst-Diarra has been regional sales manager for SMEs at Workday since February 2019. A graduate of ESLSCA Business School Paris, she previously worked at Dassault Syst\u00e8mes from 2014 to 2019. Ernst-Diarra previously held other career positions at Computacenter, HanseNet Telekommunikation and TIM (formerly Telecom Italia Mobile). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SNP elects new Board of Directors<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Claus Heinrich<\/strong>, long-standing member of the SAP Executive Board, joins the SNP Board of Directors. The Annual General Meeting, which was again held virtually this year, elected all five candidates to their new positions with a very large majority. Immediately after the shareholders' meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Claus Heinrich as its new Chairman at its constituent meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Heidelberg entrepreneur explains on behalf of the new Board of Directors: \"We would like to thank all our shareholders for the trust they have placed in us with their vote. SNP has developed rapidly in recent years and its software is on its way to becoming the standard for complex digital transformation processes. Together, we now want to successfully lead the company into the next phase of growth.\"<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its first meeting, the Board of Directors also set up an Audit Committee. One of the focal points of its activities is the monitoring and auditing of the company's accounting. It will also deal with the effectiveness of the internal control system, the risk management system and the audit of the financial statements, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Konrad Pfeilsticker<\/strong> is leaving as Managing Director of Novatec. He had been a member of the Management Board since 2015 and was responsible for Business Area Consulting and the development of the innovation fields. His responsibilities will be taken over by the other Managing Directors Rita Ehses, Dominik Meyer and Michael Schuchart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Claire Valencony<\/strong> is a new board member at Esker. Valencony, who currently serves as Senior Director of Global Strategic Alliances, where she leads Esker's global indirect channel initiatives, is now a member of the board. Her goal is to expand Esker's partnership ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The physicist Regina Tschernko-Fleischner <\/strong>becomes Senior Project Manager at the Vienna-based SAP consulting company CNT due to her exceptional project management skills. Born in Carinthia, she has been with the company since 2007 and has successfully implemented projects ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Wolfgang Leindecker<\/strong> has taken up the position of STU (Specialist Technical Unit) Lead at Microsoft Austria with immediate effect. As Head of Solution Sales, he supports Austrian companies on their path to digital transformation. The family man can look back on 20 years of management experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Jordi Botifoll<\/strong> has been appointed NetApp's new Vice President for Iberia and Latin America. During his more than 20 years at Cisco, he has developed the technology giant's strategy in various positions. He is known for his leadership style, which is based on promoting innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
