SAP Migration in Retail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Food retail Coop Norge and Nagarro ES have signed a five-year agreement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, the project involved the delivery and operation of a new, state-of-the-art infrastructure and technical platform for Coop's business-critical SAP landscape. After an initial transition phase in which Nagarro delivered and set up the new infrastructure in Coop's own data centers, the SAP landscape and its more than 80 systems were migrated by the Nagarro team to a brand new and fully scalable platform. <\/p>

The migration project was completed in less than six months, within the planned schedule, with an absolute focus on quality and without disrupting the Norwegian retailer's business operations. Subsequent ongoing operations and future transformation of the entire SAP retail platform will be a collaborative effort between Coop's SAP technical experts and Nagarro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

International addition to the circle of partners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Valantic is partnering with Systema, an owner-managed system integrator that specializes in MES integration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expanded portfolio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

ProAlpha, provider of ERP software, is expanding its offering towards a comprehensive innovation platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With CP Corporate Planning, the group of companies is bringing on board a software provider for corporate management in the SME sector and adding financial performance management solutions to its portfolio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Headquartered in Hamburg, the company has been offering user-friendly and flexible software for operational controlling, integrated financial and profit planning and consolidation for more than 30 years. \"With Corporate Planning, we are delighted to have gained a company for our portfolio that clearly underlines our path to becoming an innovation platform<\/em>\", comments Eric Verniaut, CEO of the ProAlpha Group, on the acquisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic partnership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Esker, provider of the global cloud platform of the same name, has entered into a strategic partnership with the auditing and consulting firm KPMG France. The aim is to support companies in the transition to electronic invoicing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership combines the respective expertise of both companies to support administrative and finance departments in their digital transformation. France is currently in the process of making electronic invoicing mandatory in the B2B sector from 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

KPMG France turned to Esker to support companies in their transition to e-invoicing. KPMG's expertise in business performance and resilience, paired with Esker's technology, provides companies with the tools they need to approach the adoption of e-invoicing with confidence. The partnership builds on an initial alliance between Esker and KPMG Netherlands from 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Possible sale not ruled out<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

q.beyond is examining the sale of its existing colocation business IP Exchange alongside other strategic options.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since January 1, 2021, the IT service provider's housing and hosting business has been concentrated in the wholly-owned subsidiary IP Exchange. This company has three data centers in Munich and Nuremberg. The aim of the spin-off was to expand the strategic options in the investment-intensive business area and, in particular, to open up for partnerships or a sale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the decision in favor of one of these strategic options requires knowledge of key market conditions, the Management Board has decided to initiate a structured process to determine the potential of a possible sale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The approval of a majority or complete sale of the wholly-owned subsidiary is subject to very attractive conditions. q.beyond CEO J\u00fcrgen Hermann explains the decision: \"The colocation business has been delivering solid revenue and earnings contributions for years and we are under no pressure to act. However, the synergy contributions to our cloud, SAP and IoT business are low and the additional liquidity would further increase the scope for acquisitions.<\/em>\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
