The reorganization of the HR IT landscape ultimately led to a simplification and automation of HR processes, which in turn led to significant long-term cost savings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beumer relies on private cloud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Beumer, an international manufacturer of intralogistics systems, relies on S\/4 Hana in the private cloud and on the IT service and managed cloud provider Syntax for hosting. Syntax operates the global ERP system in its own data center and provides SAP as Software as a Service (SaaS) around the clock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The changeover to S\/4 took place due to Beumer's increasingly international orientation and its transformation from a pure product provider to a system provider and service partner.  Following the joint planning of an individual migration strategy, Syntax took care of the migration of existing interim systems and the productive system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All-in-one low-code platform<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Siemens subsidiary Mendix has announced the official release of Mendix 9. The industry's first all-in-one low-code platform extends the core low-code principles of abstraction and automation to data integration, artificial intelligence, workflow and process automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Koch Pac-Systeme is a new MobileX customer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>MobileX has won Koch Pac-Systeme as a new customer for MobileX-CrossMIP, the service app for technicians, and MobileX-Dispatch, the deployment planning software. Koch Pac-Systeme is a specialist in individual blister packaging technologies for consumer goods, medical technology and contact lenses and is part of the Uhlmann Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the introduction of the field service management solutions, the company aims to digitalize its service processes throughout and standardize the IT systems used within the Uhlmann Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, the technicians at Koch Pac-Systeme documented their service orders and reports on paper. These were then signed and scanned by the team leader. Time recording was also paper-based. The introduction of the MobileX solutions has now created a service process without media discontinuity, which reduces the susceptibility to errors and speeds up the processing times of orders from notification to invoicing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">q.beyond opens up logistics market<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With logistics, q.beyond is tapping into another sector characterized by SMEs. The target group is the almost 15,000 small and medium-sized logistics companies in Germany. q.beyond will provide them with turnkey IT services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The focus here is on the fully equipped digital workplace, which is available worldwide within a few hours, including industry-specific applications. q.beyond will bundle its activities in its fourth focus industry after retail, manufacturing and energy in a separate company in future. It offers the full range of services of an IT service provider - from SAP consulting to the operation of global cloud infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New nearshore offer for SAP consulting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SAP consulting companies are finding it increasingly difficult to find suitable personnel for customer projects. Resity Technologies, headquartered in Belgrade and with branches in Zagreb, Croatia, and Frankfurt am Main, is filling this gap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resity is a subsidiary of the Serbian Delta Holding. Delta uses SAP extensively within the Group and has built up its own strong partner ecosystem of SAP specialists in Serbia and Croatia due to the shortage of senior SAP consultants on the free market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This led to the founding of Resity. EBM-Papst is a global manufacturer of fans and drives. With the introduction of the app, the company aims to digitize and optimize mobile maintenance processes in its plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the project is also to professionalize the processing of maintenance orders and improve data quality. In a pilot project, the first 15 maintenance technicians at the Mulfingen plant will start using MobileX-CrossMIP in June 2021. The other sites in Germany, all of which have their own SAP system, will then follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finalist of the SAP Pinnacle Awards 2021<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Valantic was honored as a finalist in the SAP Pinnacle Awards in the CX Midmarket category. The SAP Pinnacle Awards are presented annually to partners who have made an outstanding contribution to the development and expansion of their cooperation with SAP and who successfully support customers in achieving their goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners and finalists of the SAP Pinnacle Awards were selected in 30 categories based on suggestions from SAP sales representatives, customer feedback and various performance metrics. With the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning, SAP's built-in support provides assistance directly in the application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An integrated digital support assistant, which uses contextual information, simplifies and accelerates interaction with customers. Built-in support offers tools and live support from experts in even fewer steps to meet customer needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This customer experience is made possible by artificial intelligence and machine learning. These enable a high level of user-friendliness, as users are accustomed to from smartphones, while robust SAP technology controls the underlying interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Revolution through XR Process Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspiring employees through change and at the same time allowing them to help shape new paths is crucial for digital and corporate culture transformation projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the SAP software component Extended Reality Cloud (XR Cloud), business processes can be brought to life and actively shaped and are available to the interested community from anywhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a co-innovation partner, BearingPoint is participating in the XR Process Experience to enable process changes in virtual reality and unleash employee enthusiasm in the long term. Extended Reality (XR) supports simulations and makes it possible to experience solutions and products even before they go live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employees can immerse themselves virtually in their environment and actively work in it, while colleagues and consultants accompany the scene in real time and coach the employees. This increases understanding of the content and leads to a high level of acceptance of new processes, role profiles and<br>IT systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">S\/4 gets AI jump-start<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With a pilot project within the ESM Suite, Solutive is working with cognitive business robotics provider AI4BD Germany to bring artificial intelligence to SAP landscapes and thus increase the level of automation. This should not only benefit SAP projects that have failed or gone off the rails, but also every existing installation and every migration that takes place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complex pattern recognition of SAP object types is used, for example, to carry out a consistency check to define a consistent transport strategy. For this purpose, a semantic classification of the objects and their content is carried out in advance. The company will be supported by Atos with a customized solution that includes the maintenance of SAP applications and flexible license management over an initial period of seven years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atos is developing a scalable, flexible solution tailored to IKB's needs in the form of an SAP Partner Managed Cloud, which will be provided on a subscription basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the tailor-made solution, IKB, which supports German SMEs with loans as well as capital market and advisory services, is able to flexibly adapt the scope of SAP licenses to its specific needs. IKB can now switch from a rigid on-premises model to the new cloud-based solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KPS receives award<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>KPS announces its receipt of the globally recognized SAP Pinnacle Award in the Customer Experience category. The SAP Pinnacle Awards are a coveted accolade from SAP and draw attention to those partners who, through their special achievements, commitment and teamwork as well as exceptionally innovative contributions, help customers to successfully implement projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of over 20,000 SAP partners worldwide, only 21 partners were selected for an SAP Pinnacle Award in 2021. KPS is the winner in the Customer Experience Midmarket category. The timely processing of orders is crucial for suppliers in every industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The in-vitro diagnostics products that Siemens Healthineers supplies to medical facilities must be handled quickly and accurately to ensure the best possible patient care and improve the patient experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The previous cumbersome order entry process was based on manual entry of order items. To reduce the customer service workload and avoid errors, Siemens Healthineers turned to Esker to find a solution that would automate, standardize and streamline the order entry process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the results achieved in Italy, Siemens Healthineers has extended the partnership with Esker and is now implementing the order processing solution in subsidiaries in the USA, Western and Eastern Europe and South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wholesale supermarket chain moves to the cloud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SNP LATAM was recently awarded the contract for an extensive S\/4 Hana cloud project. The client, Supermercados Mayoristas Yaguar, headquartered in Buenos Aires, is a leader in the wholesale market, with a nationwide customer portfolio of more than 75,000 companies and serving self-service stores, department stores, discount stores, perfumeries, government institutions, restaurants and hotels, among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of S\/4 Hana Private Cloud Edition for Retail is a digital transformation that represents a significant investment in technology and infrastructure, as well as in the organization and management of the work teams. With this project, Supermercados Mayoristas Yaguar has thus initiated a digital transformation process that will align the company with its envisaged future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">German Innovation Award<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SAP engineers at IGZ have been awarded the German Innovation Award in Gold in the Logistics &amp; Infrastructure category. The patented pick-by-robot solution Luke2 was recognized as having the potential to change the market for fully automated single-part picking in the long term. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luke2 is the only mobile picking robot to date that can be used alternately or as an alternative to a worker. In addition, the automation solution is directly integrated into SAP EWM as a complete solution. The robot has all the technology and sensors on board, is connected with just one cable and is ready for use in just a few minutes.
