Hybrid systems already offer interesting economic advantages today: Globally, two-thirds of companies already claim to be ahead of their competitors thanks to hybrid clouds.<\/p>\n

But there is still a great need for information in companies on how these complex mixtures of on-premise and cloud systems can best be used.<\/p>

About half of the world's enterprises are unaware that it is possible to move applications between public, private and hybrid clouds and to offload on-premise applications to the cloud.<\/p>\n

SAP is betting on the cloud, and since a large proportion of companies will not completely switch over immediately, we will have to deal with complex hybrid landscapes in the next few years.<\/p>\n

SAP therefore offers a range of platforms and systems that are supported: from x86 and Power in the data center to SAP cloud options such as HPC and HEC to cloud providers such as AWS and Azure.<\/p>\n
