\"HF\"This year's Talent Revolution survey, conducted by the German Digital Industry Association (BVDW) together with the Boston Consulting Group and the Google Digital Academy, shows just how great the backlog is in terms of digital skills.<\/p>\n

According to the study, continuing education programs in the area of digital marketing fall far short of requirements.<\/p>

\"Fullsize\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Two-thirds of survey respondents felt they did not have access to a training program that would allow them to gain the digital knowledge and skills necessary for their role.<\/p>\n

The guide now published recommends a sustainable solution to the problem:<\/p>\n

\"Digital skills must be taught across the board, especially in schools and universities\"<\/em><\/p>\n

\"The phrase ' lifelong learning ' is becoming a compelling reality from both an employee and a company perspective.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

Completely new demands<\/h3>\n

Established professions are beginning to change, new job profiles are emerging, and the complexity of job requirements is growing - the labor market is changing at an unprecedented rate.<\/p>\n

Automation is already eliminating activities with a high degree of routine.<\/p>\n

\"Tomorrow's labor market will place completely new demands on the skills of employees. Many jobs will no longer exist, but new ones will be created - we have to prepare for this now and provide the appropriate skills.<\/em><\/p>\n

The organizational structures would also have to take this into account:<\/p>\n

\"Already, the office world is changing: we increasingly have room concepts that no longer accommodate all employees at the same time, nor do people sit at the same table every day.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

At the same time, employees' demands on their own working methods are also changing, as are the requirements placed on employers.<\/p>\n

\"Criteria such as salary and safety are becoming less important\"<\/em><\/p>\n

Fortmann notes.<\/p>\n

\"By 'good work,' the upcoming generation understands that employers offer them differentiated opportunities for personal development and training, flexible working hours, working time accounts, parental leave or sabbaticals.\"<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

It is now obvious that digitization of the working world goes far beyond teleworking and web seminars.
