S\/4 Hana conversions will also be highly prioritized during Corona and will continue to a large extent - albeit with a changed scope. 87 percent of SAP customers want to have completed the transformation by 2025. The cloud plays a greater role in this than it did in the past. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

39 percent of the companies surveyed have changed their plans for the S\/4 conversion due to the changed framework conditions caused by the Corona crisis. Just under half (46 percent) of them stated that they had slowed down the conversion after the outbreak of the Corona crisis or had stopped the projects for the time being for cost reasons. <\/p>

The remaining majority of companies want to use S\/4 to meet the new requirements and achieve technological and process-related progress. As a result, 64 percent accelerated the changeover in 2020, primarily in order to realign ERP processes with the changed requirements of the business units. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another aspect in this context for 54 percent of the companies is better support for the development of digital business models through a modern ERP system. A look at the status of the S\/4 conversion by mid-2020 paints an ambivalent picture: 44 percent of the companies surveyed have already completed or partially completed their ERP conversion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only four percent of participants started implementation completely from scratch in 2020 - which suggests a low number of new customers. Nevertheless, 31 percent of the companies were about to start implementation in mid-2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A clear majority of 61 percent of the companies surveyed that are already well advanced with their S\/4 plans are relying on the hybrid cloud for ERP operation (2019: 14 percent). By contrast, only 21 percent of companies are still planning to operate S\/4 alone.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
