Clear business management, agile processes and access to skills for new technologies will ultimately enable companies to overcome their challenges today while preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To better understand how IT managers successfully deal with these challenges, Suse commissioned a global survey from the market research institute Insight Avenue. This survey investigated the approaches IT decision-makers are taking and which technologies they are focusing on.<\/p>

Even before the extreme pressure of the pandemic made a shift to digitized business models a mission-critical factor, the survey found that IT executives have only a short time to drive IT transformation in their organizations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly 90 percent of respondents worldwide see investment in digitization over the next two years as essential to bringing about tangible change in their companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long-standing legacy complex applications, infrastructure and processes are now being challenged. Nearly two-thirds of respondents see infrastructure simplification as their top investment priority for the next 24 months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT decision makers are aware that they need to implement a modern approach, but at the same time, careful evaluation and planning are required for successful implementation.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
