They make it possible to retrieve and exchange files quickly, easily and independently of end devices through centralized online storage. The temptation to simply rely on public cloud storage services is great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, companies are better off staying away from them. These services are generally of US origin and are therefore subject to the US Cloud Act. This relatively new law legitimizes American authorities to demand that operators hand over all of a person's or company's data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is not compatible with local data protection regulations such as the GDPR. It is therefore worth taking a closer look at the market. There are alternatives from Germany that enable companies to operate their own content collaboration solutions in secure and data protection-compliant private cloud environments, Owncloud assures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Itelligence has been awarded the Diamond Partnership for Europe by automation specialist UiPath. At UiPath, the number of employees trained in the various automation roles determines the partner status. <\/p>\n\n\n\n UiPath specifies minimum values for this, which the partners must prove on a regular basis. Thanks in part to its global network with the NTT Data Group, Itelligence has a large number of trained specialists in robotic process automation. This is how Itelligence earns the Diamond status awarded to only a few other partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Smooth interaction in Information Lifecycle Management (ILM): SAP has recertified the ILM interface from Ceyoniq. The nscale ERP Connector 7.15 for SAP ILM supports SAP users in managing the lifecycle of digital data, for example by assigning deletion periods or lock indicators for archiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The recertification was carried out on the basis of the S\/4-BC-ILM 1.0 scenario, in which the compatibility of the interface with the S\/4 Hana product generation is tested. Whether archiving, locking or deleting: SAP Information Lifecycle Management (SAP ILM) offers users various functions for efficient data management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In order for SAP users to be able to use the necessary ILM functionalities, a WebDAV-based storage must be connected. The nscale ERP Connector 7.15 for SAP ILM, which has now been recertified by SAP, acts as such a storage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The interface was tested according to the new S\/4-BC-ILM 1.0 scenario, which provides for the use of an S\/4 system based on an on-premises installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The IT service provider for the energy industry Gisa is part of a global co-innovation to define and design an SAP platform for utilities (SAP Cloud for Utilities C4U). <\/p>\n\n\n\n Around 15 utility companies, which handle over 100 million customer contracts worldwide, have joined this co-innovation project so far, including Innogy and MVV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n According to SAP, SAP Cloud for Utilities is a fully integrated solution based on the lead-to-cash process (energy sales). This is to be provided as a cloud or hybrid version to support utility companies in the automation of sales processes. With SAP Cloud for Utilities, SAP offers an alternative that can intelligently supplement or completely replace the traditional SAP Utilities (IS-U).<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to SAP, Cloud for Utilities can integrate intelligent technologies and insights into business processes in real time and offers comprehensive functions for marketing, service, trading, product bundling, self-service, fulfillment of complex services and billing for commodity and non-commodity products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to companies from Germany, partners from Austria, Portugal, China and the USA are also represented in the cooperation. In terms of technology, SAP Cloud for Utilities is based on the C\/4 Hana suite, S\/4 Cloud and S\/4 Hana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Membrain, a software manufacturer for the development of business apps and standard SAP modules, achieved double-digit sales growth last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The expansion of the product portfolio and the increasing implementation of digitalization and Industry 4.0 projects are the reasons for Membrain's growth. The intensive involvement in the SAP Fiori area also ensured additional growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to the new SAP SDK for iOS and Android, app projects were implemented in a short space of time, driven by the increased demand for mobile SAP processes. In addition, Membrain Switzerland was founded near Lucerne last year as part of the internationalization process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Digitalization topics have arrived in German companies. As their importance has now reached top management and boardrooms, these projects have been increasingly implemented over the past twelve months - across all sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A trend can also be seen here, both in the corporate environment and in SMEs. The main driver of digitalization projects is increasing efficiency. However, this also benefits from demographic change, the shortage of skilled workers and real-time requirements. The year began with two successes for SAP Gold Partner Projekt0708: The Munich-based IT service provider qualified as an SAP Recognized Expertise Partner in Germany for SAP SuccessFactors Talent Solutions and SAP SuccessFactors Learning Solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n With these certifications, the software manufacturer recognizes partners with proven experience in specific application areas or industries. This expertise is also officially identified in the partner listings, making it easier for new customers to find the right implementation partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The prerequisites for the respective qualifications are not only specially trained consultants, but also proof of successfully completed projects with at least three reference customers in the relevant field. Projekt0708 can point to successful projects in the past year with reference customers from various sectors - retail, consumer goods and mechanical engineering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n At the end of 2019, the IT company was awarded SAP Recognized Expertise for the SuccessFactors Recruiting and SuccessFactors Onboarding solutions. However, the company will not rest on its laurels: SAP Recognized Expertise must be confirmed through annual audits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, the next goal has already been set: certification for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. In addition, competence in the area of user experience is to be demonstrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Digital transformation provider Atos is expanding its strategic partnership with French multinational car manufacturer PSA. The new contract provides for the development of an SAP S\/4 Hana enterprise platform that integrates Opel-Vauxhall and Peugeot-Citro\u00ebn-DS on a common accounting system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The project is accelerating the digital transformation across the entire Group. With the program, the PSA Group is launching the development of a core system based on S\/4 Hana. It will improve business processes and thus increase efficiency, increase indirect inventory transparency, streamline asset maintenance and optimize shared services through centralized functions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The project also aims to increase IT efficiency on several levels, including: User experience, streamlining the IT landscape and data management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Atos will contribute its in-depth knowledge and experience of managing the PSA Group's current SAP system landscape and its expertise as an SAP provider with end-to-end Hana solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The recertification of FIS as a Partner Center of Expertise (PCoE) was awarded for the first time without an audit - an extraordinary recognition of the support services for the long-standing SAP Gold Partner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In October 2019, the automatic renewal of FIS's certification was announced. The certificate confirms that the current SAP standards are adhered to and that the \"Customer Expert Services\" team at FIS does a good job of supporting SAP customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The usual audit as part of the SAP Partner Center of Expertise certification was therefore no longer necessary. This extension is an absolute innovation for SAP partners. In 2019, the important certificate was awarded automatically for the first time - based on the results of the Quality Measurement Report (QMR). <\/p>\n\n\n\n This makes FIS one of the first SAP partners to be automatically rewarded for constantly guaranteeing the increasing SAP standards. Numerous internal projects laid the foundation for the recertification of FIS, such as the conception and realization of a support process based on the ITIL quality standard or the implementation of the SAP backbone update for support customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, FIS was able to continuously increase the resolution rate for problem reports from SAP customers and thus repeatedly conclude the QMR report positively. The new certificate is valid until April 30, 2022. A new recertification and, if necessary, an audit will take place by this date at the latest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ecenta is pleased to announce its designation as a Gold Partner in the SAP Partneredge program. The new warehouse extends over five levels and includes a pocket sorter including a dynamic buffer for efficient pre-picking and an outgoing goods sorter for shipping. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ernsting's Family relies on SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) to expand its logistics capacities in order to implement efficient planning and control of all goods movements via a central system basis. Inconso also supports the development of native Android apps in order to optimize process handling with mobile terminals via intuitive user guidance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The expansion of e-commerce logistics is part of the development of a holistically synchronized logistics IT system, which will create a uniform SAP system landscape for smooth omnichannel logistics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n While the move into the new logistics building has already been completed, the connection of the sorter in outgoing goods is currently starting, followed by the conversion of the picking strategies, which will adapt the site to the significantly increased requirements of e-commerce logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n KGS celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2020.
