The Technology Days of the German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG) on February 11 and 12 were fully booked with 2300 participants. The motto was: \"Digitization has many sides: It's all about the right twist\".<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The event therefore focused on the right tools for successful digitalization projects and the requirements for SAP to support customers on their digitalization journey.<\/p>

Key requirements were placed on SAP in the areas of harmonization, integration, planning and investment security. In his keynote speech, for example, DSAG Chief Technology Officer Steffen Pietsch called for a OneSAP experience - user interfaces, enhancement concepts and operational aspects from a single source.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A comprehensive security dashboard with all security-relevant aspects for on-premises products and cloud solutions is also necessary. An end-to-end, consistent and consistently implemented API strategy, technically and semantically compatible data models and clear statements on the further development of the business partner are also required.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SAP must also refocus on evolutionary software development instead of disruptive change in order to provide customers with planning and investment security.
