For the\nJava stack as part of the extended maintenance until 2030, the existing customers must\nswitch to NetWeaver version 7.5 without exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, it became known that the database contract between IBM and SAP has also been extended by another five years - after 2020 now from 2025 to 2030. Insiders suspect that there could also be another contract extension until 2035. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IBM database DB2 is regarded in the SAP community as an extremely stable and high-performance tool. In contrast, of course, there is the \"dream combination\" of Hana and IBM Power. Existing SAP customers can choose SoH (Business Suite on Hana) or S\/4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Statements from Microsoft and Oracle on the continued support of the\ndatabases in the context of maintenance and extended support until 2030 are\nare not yet available.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SAP has extended the maintenance of Business Suite 7 until 2030.
