SAP partners such as Deutsche Telekom also rely extensively on Microsoft Azure (see upcoming E-3 cover story March 2020). In addition to the market leader Microsoft, SAP is in second place and AWS in third place - all other Embrace competitors are not even mentioned by name by DSAG.

What now? The pragmatic answer: With Azure, you are on the safe side and are in an experienced SAP MS partner community. AWS is naturally an interesting price/performance alternative.

Google seems to have lost access to the SAP community - signs of life are limited to English-language marketing campaigns. In the interest of productive competition and fair competition, SAP would be well advised to relaunch the Embrace initiative.

The challenges ahead will be better solved by a joint "embrace".

A year ago, SAP unveiled its big hug with hyperscalers Google, Amazon and Microsoft at the 2019 Field Kick-off Meeting in Barcelona and Las Vegas.

[27840
516,5015,37070,12978,59,236
27825
post-64733","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-chefredakteur-blog","tag-aws","tag-azure","tag-embrace","tag-fkom","tag-microsoft","tag-sap","pmpro-has-access
],"featured_image_urls_v2":
"image-100":"","image-480":"","image-640":"","image-720":"","image-960":"","image-1168":"","image-1440":"","image-1920":"","1536x1536":"","2048x2048":"
","bricks_large_16x9":"
"profile_24":"","profile_48":"","profile_96":"","profile_150":"","profile_300":""},"post_excerpt_stackable_v2":"
Vor einem Jahr präsentierte SAP auf dem Field-Kick-off-Meeting 2019 in Barcelona und Las Vegas die große Umarmung mit den Hyperscalern Google, Amazon und Microsoft.

","category_list_v2":"Chefredakteur-Blog","author_info_v2":
Peter M.
