IT spending in the EMEA region will grow again in 2020 and amount to 798 billion US dollars, according to the latest forecast by research and consulting firm Gartner.<\/p>\n

This corresponds to an increase of 3.4 percent compared to 2019.<\/p>

\"2020 will be a recovery year for IT spending in the EMEA region after three consecutive years of decline\" <\/em>says John Lovelock, Research Vice President at Gartner.<\/p>\n

\"This year, the fall in the euro and sterling against the US dollar, at least partly due to Brexit concerns, has driven down some IT spending and caused a rise in local technology hardware prices. In 2020, the market will be able to recover as Brexit is expected to come to a resolution and the pressure on exchange rates is eased.\"<\/em><\/p>\n
