This is the conclusion of the latest VDR business travel analysis in collaboration with topic partner SAP Concur. Just 4 percent of travel management employees say they use AI.<\/p>\n

At least 20 percent plan to use the technology in the future. But what are the reasons for the lack of use of the innovation potential?<\/p>

Technology alone does not make anyone more efficient, more agile or smarter. What is important above all is to be aware of its potential and to be able to use it skilfully and profitably.<\/p>\n

Lack of knowledge slows down the integration of AI in companies. In order to be prepared for a business travel future with AI and to drive its use in their own companies, the respondents primarily want training opportunities (55 percent).<\/p>\n

Promoting understanding among employees is also named by 44 percent of respondents as an important cornerstone for a future with AI. This means that greater importance is attached to knowledge transfer than to investment in relevant solutions.<\/p>\n

Around a third (36 percent) of travel managers fear that artificial intelligence will jeopardize travel management jobs in the long term. New technologies can not only support existing tasks, but can also completely take over monotonous tasks.<\/p>\n

This allows employees to engage in more challenging activities and can make work more enjoyable in the long run.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
