This figure shows the full extent of the Hana catastrophe! On January 10, 2013, Hasso Plattner and former SAP Chief Technology Officer Vishal Sikka presented Suite on Hana in Palo Alto, USA.<\/p>\n

Two and a half years later, only a few hundred existing customers have switched to the new platform. Out of 291,000 customers that SAP has worldwide. While BW on Hana is a recognized success (SAP Business Warehouse), only very few existing SAP customers can obviously warm to an ERP on the Hana platform.<\/p>

The figure comes from an interview with Wieland Schreiner, SAP Senior Vice President and Chief Product Owner Suite on Hana. He was asked: Why did SAP decide to launch SAP S\/4 Hana right now? Schreiner's answer:<\/p>\n

\"We know that we can achieve growth with strong innovations. We see this in the enormous success of SAP Business Suite powered by SAP Hana, with more than 2,200 customers, 650 implementation projects and already more than 320 productive customers.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

When E-3 asked what the enormous success was with only 320 customers, there was no answer from Walldorf, but Mr. Schreiner's answer was immediately deleted from the SAP website. Here on paper it should be more difficult for SAP, even if everyone has a right to be forgotten.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
