The Cologne-based institution's outsourcing partner is Akquinet AG from Hamburg, operator of four modern data centers and a hosting provider for solutions based on the new SAP Business Suite 4 Hana.<\/p>\n Diakonie Michaelshoven is the largest diaconal institution in the Cologne area: with over 2000 employees and around 450 volunteers, it provides care in more than 100 facilities.<\/p>\n The hosting is provided by Akquinet, a recognized IT service provider in the social economy.<\/p>\n \"Akquinet is our first choice because the company brings expertise and experience in the SAP environment and knows our industry environment\"<\/em><\/p>\n says Uwe Ufer, Commercial Director of Diakonie Michaelshoven.<\/p>\n Rubiccon GmbH from D\u00fcsseldorf is responsible for the business implementation (business process mapping).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Siegen-based digital commerce specialist has developed and programmed a new e-commerce solution for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ). This means that the Frankfurt publishing house is now represented on the Internet with a new online store offering.<\/p>\n In just a few months, a high-performance and device-independent website was created that enables the publisher to sell digital and print subscriptions in all possible forms.<\/p>\n These include trial subscriptions and term subscriptions as well as gift subscriptions and a typical publisher's bonus offer. Digital products are made available immediately after ordering.<\/p>\n In addition, the single sign-on of the main page is connected to the store. Customer data is synchronized with SAP and orders are imported. The entire system is responsive and can be used without restriction for all mobile devices.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n MobileX has added dynamic forms, an optional extension of MIP for Field Service, with some new functionalities to improve usability and customizability.<\/p>\n With this extension to the mobile application for technical field service, companies can generate any number of different digital forms to replace conventional paper forms.<\/p>\n The current version offers service technicians and fitters a number of improvements to enable them to record data even more efficiently in the digital forms while on the move.<\/p>\n The focus here is on user-friendliness and individual adaptability to specific processes. This allows technicians and fitters to concentrate on their actual task, i.e. the maintenance or service job.<\/p>\n The use cases for structured feedback and the options for creating individual form layouts have also been expanded. The new functions are available from version 4.1 of the Mobile Workforce Management Suite for the dynamic forms extension.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n With Sakuli, Consol has now developed a new tool that efficiently supports IT managers with end-to-end application monitoring. Sakuli combines the open source monitoring tools Sahi and Sikuli in a new, universal test framework and checks applications for both content-related and functional faults and errors.<\/p>\n Sakuli can be used, for example, to ensure the company-wide performance of enterprise applications such as Citrix. For this purpose, Sakuli logs in continuously at all locations and reports when the defined response times are exceeded.<\/p>\n In online stores, Sakuli acts as a \"test shopper\" and can check the order process from item search to shopping cart to payment for smooth functioning. Sakuli can also independently retrieve reports (e.g. from SAP BI) and monitor their execution time as well as the timeliness of their contents.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fieldglass, an SAP company and cloud technology provider in the field of external workforce management, was recently selected by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Vendor Management Systems (VMS) provider to support the ATO in managing its external workforce.<\/p>\n The ATO, which is primarily responsible for Australian Government revenue, will replace its many existing processes and approaches with Fieldglass to manage its external staff and its engagement with official ICT service providers on a Statement of Work (SOW) basis.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Baumann Federn will use the strategic possibilities of the SAP Suite on Hana in future. The ERP solution is part of an integrated suite of enterprise applications that captures and analyzes transaction data on a single in-memory platform in real time.<\/p>\n In future, the Swiss company will use Suite on Hana as a data platform to further optimize its processes. The tracking code, e.g. printed as a QR code on the packaging, leads back to the original producer.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n IT consultancy Camelot ITLab and software provider UberMetrics have developed a new approach to reducing risks in the supply chain.<\/p>\n The basis is the monitoring tool UberMetrics Delta, which enables real-time analysis of mass data from both public online and traditional offline channels.<\/p>\n With Camelot's best practices, the software can be used in the future to prevent transport failures in the forwarding environment and to monitor complex supply chains.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In cooperation with SAP, FIS has put various Simple Finance (SFIN) processes through their paces in recent weeks. The test scenario was completed entirely on the Hana installation of FIS in one of its own data centers in Grafenrheinfeld.<\/p>\n In this way, FIS was able to gain valuable insights into the practicality and optimization potential of individual SFIN scenarios. The cloud company has purchased the maintenance software +Maintenance Solutions from the consulting and system house GiS - Gesellschaft f\u00fcr integrierte Systemplanung.<\/p>\n As part of the asset deal, the company is also taking over the customers, partners and employees from GiS's Business ByDesign division.
