This noticeably reduces the workload for employees in the specialist departments, reduces the administrative workload for routine activities and significantly improves output and efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Award-winning maintenance solution<\/h3>\n<p>All4Cloud has received the 2016 IT Innovation Award from the Initiative Mittelstand in the ERP category for its SAP Business ByDesign cloud ERP suite with the EAM4Cloud maintenance solution. In this complete solution, All4Cloud combines the SAP Business ByDesign cloud ERP system with the maintenance functions and processes of the SAP add-on EAM4Cloud.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the classic ERP functions and processes, the cloud ERP solution also combines those for internal maintenance management and external customer service. Medium-sized companies can access all data centrally and up-to-date in a protected cloud environment from anywhere, including mobile use.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Procurement solution<\/h3>\n<p>Vacuumschmelze, a manufacturer of special magnetic materials, relies on integrated Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and optimizes its purchasing with the e-procurement platform TradeCore from Onventis.<\/p>\n<p>The complete SRM system from the Stuttgart-based IT solution provider replaces the previous purchasing software and, as a central procurement platform, will map the entire source-to-settle process digitally and fully integrated in future.<\/p>\n<p>The standard integration with SAP and the payment card provider AirPlus supports the seamless electronic data flow. Vacuumschmelze also benefits from integrated automated order management in the area of order management, which can be controlled directly from SAP ERP via standardized interfaces.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Digitalization of service processes<\/h3>\n<p>Realtech, a long-standing SAP technology partner, is realigning itself and focusing on the topic of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) against the backdrop of digitalization. To this end, the Walldorf-based company will continuously modernize its product range and services.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to become an active shaper of the ESM market in Germany through the further development of the portfolio and targeted investments. With its technological expertise and software tools, Realtech is currently one of the leading providers in IT service management. It can be used both as a leading system and as a fall-back solution.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>SAP Quality Awards 2016<\/h3>\n<p>On the occasion of the SAP Forum 2016 in Basel, SAP presented the SAP Quality Awards 2016 in gold, silver and bronze in Switzerland. The gold award winners are the Insel Group, Switzerland's largest hospital, Interroll and bicycle component specialist DT Swiss.<\/p>\n<p>Every year since 2008, SAP Switzerland has presented the Quality Award to customers who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the planning and execution of implementation projects.<\/p>\n<p>This year's winners of the SAP Quality Awards in the Business Transformation category are: Insel Group, SBB. In the \"Fast Delivery\" category, gold, silver and bronze went to DT Swiss, Just Switzerland and F. Hoffmann-La Roche. In the \"Innovation\" category, Interroll, Novo Business Consultants and SBB were honored.<\/p>\n<p>The gold winners from Switzerland automatically take part in the SAP Quality Award Europe. The winners of the Quality Awards at European level will be determined in the first quarter of 2017.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Technology partner<\/h3>\n<p>Neo 7even and Honico eBusiness seal a technology partnership. In a first joint project, the two companies demonstrated their respective expertise and team spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The requirement was to connect a merchandise management system (SAP) with an existing e-commerce platform including a downstream payment system and the CMS with NeoZenzai using Honico's \"Integration-Man (iMan)\" as middleware.<\/p>\n<p>All data is validated and checked for plausibility, transferred to the respective system components and relevant information is written back to SAP. The project is currently running smoothly and on schedule. Both partners are therefore looking forward to further successful projects and a good working relationship.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Processes in outdoor storage<\/h3>\n<p>Orbis has successfully introduced the SAP-based Orbis transport control system (TSS) and a mobile solution, which are fully integrated into the existing SAP warehouse management system (SAP WM), at Peri's 100,000 square meter open-air warehouse in Wei\u00dfenhorn.<\/p>\n<p>PeriI, a manufacturer of formwork and scaffolding, uses it to create a dialog-supported data and document flow with consistent processes in its open-air warehouse, thus bringing transparency and flexibility to warehouse management.<\/p>\n<p>The implementation, including the integration of the hardware components and the development of the network infrastructure for the mobile application, was completed in eight months.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Secure S\/4 migration<\/h3>\n<p>Due to its growth, the logistics group Imperial Logistics is currently working with two R\/3 installations in accounting. The company put the system consolidation to a central S\/4 Hana Finance platform out to tender in two separate projects, one for design and one for implementation.<\/p>\n<p>SAP partner Arvato Systems succeeded in winning both projects. The broad consulting and service portfolio as well as the already developed roadmap for S\/4 were decisive factors. After an implementation period of just six months, the first Imperial Logistics companies are due to switch to the central S\/4 Hana platform at the end of June 2016.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Extended SAP services<\/h3>\n<p>Sysback, which was founded as an independent system house in Hamburg, is now expanding its range of services to include another important business area, the SAP service portfolio, thus once again living up to its new company slogan.<\/p>\n<p>The service portfolio ranges from SAP Consulting, SAP Software Services and SAP Testing to SAP Special Services. In future, the system house wants to be in a position to advise its customers' IT departments on the selection of manufacturers for SAP-certified Hana hardware and, for example, to provide professional support to purchasing departments involved in the hardware selection process as part of tenders.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Migration to Hana<\/h3>\n<p>With its in-memory technology, Hana enables the surface coater Galfa to react immediately to changes in the markets, customer behavior and production processes. Employees have up-to-date insights into constantly changing business requirements at all times.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"Access to reliable real-time data improves our planning accuracy and enables immediate reactions to changes in markets, customer behavior and production processes\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>says Frank Herdeg, partner at Galfa.<\/p>\n<p>The company achieved this through the Hana migration, which was carried out following the successful introduction of an SAP Business All-in-One solution. As with the SAP ERP implementation, the contract for the Hana migration was awarded to the SAP partner and overall IT service provider Sycor.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>New HPI solution<\/h3>\n<p>Mastering and optimizing one's own business processes is one of the most important challenges in all sectors of the economy. The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) has presented new software called Lana, which uses digital traces in IT systems such as SAP or Salesforce to track and then fully visualize the processes actually carried out.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"In this way, knowledge about business processes that is contained in event data and otherwise remains hidden can be made tangible in process models\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>says HPI Professor Mathias Weske, head of the Business Process Technology department.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>SAP licenses<\/h3>\n<p>With SamQ Cloud, Voquz is launching the first cloud solution on the market that allows companies to independently analyze and optimize their SAP license inventory. The determination of optimization potential is made available to interested parties free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>As with the on-premise version, SAP licenses are also optimized in SamQ Cloud on the basis of the transactions actually used. Users of SamQ Cloud no longer need to install the software in their own SAP system, allowing them to determine and optimize their license inventory even faster.<\/p>\n<p>Special customizing options are also available to map details from the SAP contracts in a company-specific way. The software is particularly interesting for medium-sized companies with up to 500 SAP users, as the entire analysis and optimization process is free of charge for them.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>SAP Hana Vora<\/h3>\n<p>SAP announced the general availability of Hana Vora. The new query engine based on in-memory technology is designed to enable powerful contextual analytics on data stored in Hadoop, enterprise systems and other distributed data sources. The SAP partner network, which includes Cloudera, Databricks, Hortonworks and MapR Technologies, is to support Hana Vora.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>SAP Cloud CRM<\/h3>\n<p>Intorq, headquartered in Aerzen, has introduced the SAP Cloud for Sales solution at its sites in Germany and the USA in just three months. The manufacturer of electromagnetic brakes and clutches is thus pursuing the goals of being able to process customer requests more efficiently, strengthening communication and the exchange of information between the subsidiaries and making sales forecasts more precise. In further phases, Sybit will also introduce the SAP cloud solution in its subsidiaries in China and India.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Master Data Governance<\/h3>\n<p>ISO Professional Services (IPS) has won the tender of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) based in Braunschweig and has been awarded the contract to implement the Marlin Data Governance Process solution and other SAP Data Quality Add-ons.<\/p>\n<p>IPS is connecting its Marlin Data Governance Process solution to PTB's SAP ERP system for a regulated master data creation and maintenance process with integrated address clearing. The existing solution will be replaced as part of this project.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>SolMan add-on<\/h3>\n<p>SAP technology partner Realtech has introduced an add-on for SAP Solution Manager that provides a central graphical overview of business services and technology components and their relationships for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Realtech intends to make its technological expertise in data acquisition and visualization available to companies that rely on third-party IT and enterprise service management solutions.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Certified<\/h3>\n<p>Since September 2015, Conova has been the first SAP-certified provider of infrastructure for SAP solutions in Austria. This certification confirms the high quality of Conova's services in the area of Infrastructure Operations Services and is also a seal of quality for all customers who rely on SAP solutions.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the certification process, many criteria such as security measures, processes and employees were examined in detail.
