Somaini joins from cloud provider Box, where he held the role of chief trust officer. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Yahoo and Symantec, among others. Somaini has more than 20 years of professional experience in the IT security industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"The newly created role demonstrates the relevance of the topic of security in a digitally networked world. It is therefore crucial to detect security gaps as early as possible and to close them quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Early detection\" is thus gaining in importance, as is the development of tools that can be used to efficiently eliminate threats. Norbert Rotter, who has been Chief Financial Officer for many years, will succeed him as CEO of the company on July 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1989, Vogel founded S&amp;P Consult as a start-up in Bielefeld and has since been Managing Director or a member of the company's Management Board, and from January 2001 Chairman of the Management Board of Itelligence. Rotter, who holds a degree in business administration, initially began his career in 1995 at the Bielefeld branch of the international auditing company KPMG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2000 onwards, he worked from New York as a KPMG manager looking after German subsidiaries on the American market. In 2004, he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and was then licensed as an auditor for the US market. He has been a member of the Management Board of Itelligence since 2008. As Chief Financial Officer, he was also responsible for mergers and acquisitions, in particular international expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rotter is married and has three children. \"On behalf of the entire management, the NTT DATA Group and on behalf of all Itelligence employees, I would like to thank Herbert Vogel for his life's work and the excellent collaboration. Herbert Vogel played a key role in shaping Itelligence and building the world's largest SAP service provider for the midmarket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this change, Itelligence succeeds in combining continuity with strategic positioning for the future. Pritchard has been in the IT industry for more than 25 years. He brings extensive business strategy, process and indirect channel experience to his new role as CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most recently, he was executive vice president of channels at Unify, responsible for all indirect sales activities. Over the past decade, she has held a variety of roles with ever-expanding responsibilities at Electronic Arts. Most recently, she was Vice President of Human Resources at EA Studios, leading talent strategy for an organization of 3000 employees in 14 locations worldwide. He succeeds Vlasta Dusil, who is taking on the role of HR Director SAP India within the Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palumbo has worked in human resources for more than 14 years, during which time he has held various management and consulting positions in a wide range of countries in Europe and Asia. He joined SAP in 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2007, Palumbo left SAP and worked as a consulting manager at Accenture, among others. Palumbo holds a master's degree in politics, economics and intercultural communication.
