With Fact.Pilot, we can speed up the factoring processes and reduce our risk.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The bank offers factoring for corporate customers in southern Germany and Austria. The Fact.Portal web portal allows the factor and the factoring client to upload information and documents on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>This simplifies customer communication. To reduce the risk of default, the integrated limit management system Limit.Pilot checks each receivable for its suitability for purchase in terms of the limits set. Via interfaces to credit insurers, Fact.Pilot receives daily updates on the insurance status.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>C4C<\/h3>\n<p>With its First Look and Deep Dive consulting packages, Camelot ITLab enables customers to easily get started with the cloud CRM solution SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C). Both introductory packages involve a test run of the SAP solution accompanied by Camelot ITLab consultants, albeit in different versions.<\/p>\n<p>Interested parties should be able to test a system that has already been adapted to their own requirements in productive operation. Once the test phase has been completed, an objective assessment can be made as to whether the solution is suitable for use in your own company.<\/p>\n<p>Customers receive increased planning security and a basis of argumentation for all further steps in their CRM initiative.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Commerzbank relies on Hana<\/h3>\n<p>Commerzbank is now using integrated finance and risk solutions based on the Hana platform to digitalize its processes. Together with SAP, it is working on digitizing its consolidation and closing processes for financial transactions in all business areas on a uniform platform.<\/p>\n<p>With the SAP Bank Analyzer applications, including the SAP Accounting for Financial Instruments application, Commerzbank is now able to close its books faster each month.<\/p>\n<p>The bank has also created a central financial platform that digitizes data from all areas of the company, including private client business, corporate client business and investment banking. This database is also used for risk and controlling processes.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Integration middleware<\/h3>\n<p>TPG PSLink 2016 was once again awarded the \"SAP Certified Application\" label, which is valid until 2019. Once again, TPG opted for a comprehensive \"custom certification\" to cover all integration aspects that are important for project management.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast to the certification of standard interface scenarios, which relate technically to specific SAP modules or function groups, customized certification specifies the relevant use cases from a business perspective and tests the relevant SAP functions across all modules.<\/p>\n<p>This type of certification is significantly more demanding. Compared to the last certification, three additional use cases have been added to the test applications.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Pioneer in Iran<\/h3>\n<p>In March 2016, PTS Consulting and the technology company Iran Borna founded a joint venture. The cooperation marks the start of a joint market entry with SAP consulting services in Iran.<\/p>\n<p>The SAP consulting company is thus focusing on the opportunities arising from the end of the Iran embargo. Iran Borna opens up contacts and channels to many companies that want to make use of consulting services or SAP implementations \"Made in Germany\".<\/p>\n<p>PTS board member Marc Tr\u00fcmper confirms this development:<\/p>\n<p><em>\"Coverage of SAP solutions in Iran is currently still very low. Discussions show that the demand for IT consulting services will increase enormously over the next two to three years. From our point of view, an investment in this region makes sense for the project and license business.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>SAP HCM for Goethe-Institut<\/h3>\n<p>The Goethe-Institut is the globally active cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. It currently has 159 institutes in 98 countries, including twelve Goethe-Instituts in Germany.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"With the introduction of an SAP-based personnel management system, we have successfully implemented our goal of providing future-oriented support for our more than 3,000 employees worldwide. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>IT2-Solutions-AG has accompanied us on this path as a competent, reliable partner and was significantly involved in the implementation\".<\/em><\/p>\n<p>reports Sabine Walz-Jaeger, Head of Human Resources.<\/p>\n<p>The new HR management system with employee portal includes extensive portal functions such as application databases and workflows, job postings and time account management.<\/p>\n<p>Own data can be maintained independently and managers quickly have insight into employee profiles, time accounts, absence approvals and relocation-related benefits.<\/p>\n<p>In the newly introduced electronic personnel file of IT2, all relevant employee documents are kept and electronically archived in an audit-proof manner thanks to the authorization and access concept fully implemented in SAP ERP HCM.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>New location in Vara\u017edin<\/h3>\n<p>The digital agency ecx.io officially opened its new location in Vara\u017edin in April. Under the management of Dejan Novak and Mario Horvat, more than 15 employees have been working at the Croatian branch since the end of last year.<\/p>\n<p>The focus is on projects with Hybris and Adobe. The successful cooperation with the country's largest and oldest university and local institutions was a decisive factor in the choice of location.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"We are looking forward to building up our branch with new employees and continuing our cooperation. Incidentally, there will also be a new location in Zagreb to continue our expansion course\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>says Helmut Nachbauer, Managing Partner of ecx.io.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Production logistics<\/h3>\n<p>Hauni Maschinenbau relies on Inconso's expertise to modernize production logistics processes and speed up order picking processes at its Hamburg-Bergedorf site.<\/p>\n<p>The software specialist from the K\u00f6rber Business Area Logistics Systems is implementing comprehensive optimization measures based on SAP and ensuring leaner processes. Inconso has now begun implementing a multi-stage project plan to increase the efficiency of production logistics processes across the board at the Hamburg-Bergedorf site.<\/p>\n<p>Since mid-2015, more than thirty Kardex shuttle systems for supplying production with small parts have been connected directly to the SAP LES (Logistics Execution System) in use. The InconsoS\/Line add-on enables seamless communication between the SAP logistics systems and the subordinate control systems.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Software Hosted in Germany<\/h3>\n<p>Seeburger, a specialist in the integration of internal and external business processes, has repeatedly been awarded the \"Software Hosted in Germany\" seal of approval by the German Association of IT SMEs (BITMi).<\/p>\n<p>This certifies products whose data and software are hosted in Germany and are therefore subject to German law and do not leave Germany. Seeburger has provided corresponding evidence for the Business Integration Suite software product.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"We are delighted with the award\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>says Axel Haas, Seeburger Co-CEO.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"The seal of approval confirms to our customers that our cloud solutions also offer reliable data security, the best availability, investment security and data protection in accordance with German law. It guarantees German quality, future security and trust in data protection, especially for sensitive company data on the internet.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>VMS Technology Supplier of Excellence<\/h3>\n<p>Fieldglass, an SAP subsidiary providing cloud technology for services procurement and external workforce management, has been awarded the title of Vendor Management System (VMS) Technology Supplier of Excellence in the fourth annual Supplier Excellence Awards by Kelly Outsourcing and Consulting Group, an international provider of workforce solutions.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"SAP Fieldglass embodies the values of being a strategic partner in this industry\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>said John Healy, Vice President &amp; Managing Director of KellyOCG.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"We have been working together for over a decade across all regions to deliver the best staffing solutions in the world to our mutual customers. This recognition is part of a conscious effort to strengthen the collaboration and value we bring to the market together.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Certified in Hana Operations Services<\/h3>\n<p>The IT service provider Prego Services has received the \"Certified in Hana Operations Services\" certification from SAP. The Walldorf-based software manufacturer thus certifies Prego's professional, secure and efficient operation of SAP solutions based on the Hana platform.<\/p>\n<p>The operation of customized SAP applications in its ISO-certified data center has been one of Prego's core competencies for many years. The service provider, which has already been active as an SAP Certified Outsourcing Operations Partner for some time thanks to its \"SAP Certified in Hosting Services\" certification, has now also received a special certificate for the operation of SAP applications that are based on the Hana platform and allow in-memory computing.<\/p>\n<p>The IT service provider was able to prove this, among other things, through a project with VSE. Prego has been operating a BI environment based on Hana for the energy supply company since mid-2015.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Realtech store online<\/h3>\n<p>Realtech customers can now purchase selected tools for SAP users and add-ons for Realtech products online. The highlight in the store is the newly developed vSIM, an add-on for SAP Solution Manager for visualizing and modelling services and relations.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"With our store, we offer customers the opportunity to obtain selected software products easily, securely and quickly. New features are available to the user within a very short time after ordering\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>says Managing Director Bernd Kappesser.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"IT managers in companies in particular benefit from our new online offering because the digitized processes increase efficiency in software purchasing.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Customers can also quickly gain an impression of new applications thanks to fast access to test versions.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Building on S\/4<\/h3>\n<p>The Swiss real estate development company Swiss Property has gone live with the S\/4 Enterprise Management solution after just two months of implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Swiss Property chose SAP because, as a young company with ambitious growth targets, it needed a future-proof platform that would enable it to realize its vision of lean, digitalized construction. Swiss Property implemented S\/4 Enterprise Management in teamwork with SAP partner Intelsys using business process knowledge from SAP Best Practices.<\/p>\n<p>Intelsys supports companies in the mechanical engineering and construction industries in the provision of integrated solutions for design, planning and construction.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Concur training partner<\/h3>\n<p>The Mainz-based software company Rocon Rohrbach EDV-Consulting can look back on an extraordinarily successful start to its partnership with Concur Deutschland, an SAP subsidiary and provider of integrated solutions for business travel management and travel expense management.<\/p>\n<p>Rocon has now announced a further deepening of the partnership and has been able to expand its comprehensive service: Effective immediately, Rocon is the exclusive training partner for all Concur customers worldwide who request travel expense seminars for German-speaking countries.<\/p>\n<p>We offer end-user training, back-office workshops and training for the Rocon middleware Mistral, which is a cloud solution that connects any third-party systems, such as ERP with Concur. The seminars are tailored to the specific requirements of the company and the needs of the participants.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>SolMan Ramp-up<\/h3>\n<p>As a long-standing SAP partner in the Solution Manager area, DHC is taking part in the ramp-up for SolMan 7.2. As part of the ramp-up, the new functionality will be put through its paces.<\/p>\n<p>In this way, DHC is not only actively contributing to the stability and improvement of the new SAP Solution Manager release, but is also gaining experience at this early stage for later implementations at its customers.<\/p>\n<p>SAP plans to release the new SAP Solution Manager 7.2 in the third quarter of 2016. Customers will then have until the end of 2017 to upgrade their existing SAP Solution Manager installation to Solution Manager 7.2. It is important for customers to know that SolMan 7.1 will be phased out of maintenance at this time.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest change was in the Solution Documentation area. The existing functionality has been completely revised and improved. For customers planning to implement or migrate to the new Business Suite S\/4, the new Solution Documentation offers support by providing best practice content and the new SAP implementation method SAP Activate.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>S\/4 Adoption Partner<\/h3>\n<p>In recognition of its contributions as an SAP partner, Itelligence has received two SAP Pinnacle Awards: Global Value-Added Reseller and S\/4 Adoption Partner of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>The SAP Pinnacle Awards are presented annually to leading SAP partners who excel in the development and growth of their partnership with SAP, driving customer success. In HGI, we have found a qualified ERP\/CRM expert who provides these companies with comprehensive local support using our products\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>says Robert K\u00f6rmer from SAP Austria.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Sales and revenue planning<\/h3>\n<p>Together with its customer Vibracoustic, the SAP consulting company UnitCon presents the newly introduced global sales and revenue planning based on SAP BPC 10.1 embedded, BW on Hana and Cloud for Customer.<\/p>\n<p>Large, sought-after automotive suppliers such as Vibracoustic, headquartered in Darmstadt, face major challenges when it comes to precise, group-wide sales and turnover planning.<\/p>\n<p>As the global market leader for vibration control technology in the automotive sector, sales planning is a key success factor for the future. Almost all car and commercial vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide are always supplied promptly and in high quality with components that noticeably increase on-board comfort.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the project was to consolidate and harmonize large volumes of planning-relevant data from various source systems using the latest SAP technologies, to bring them into relation and also to make them available on a mobile basis.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Time recording<\/h3>\n<p>Kaba has introduced a new version of its EACM solution, which is directly integrated into the SAP ERP application. In addition to efficient access organization, it also offers time recording integrated into the SAP system.<\/p>\n<p>The new Kaba EACM Time module ensures an end-to-end automated time management process from the recording of working times through to payroll accounting. The data is checked for plausibility and posted to the SAP ERP Human Capital Management solution (SAP ERP HCM) via the standardized HR-PDC interface of the SAP system.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Next-generation service provider<\/h3>\n<p>The consulting and IT services company Capgemini was named the leading provider in the new report \"The Forrester Wave: Services Providers For Next-Generation SAP Products, Q1 2016\".<\/p>\n<p>This is according to a report published in March by the independent research company Forrester. In the context of the digital transformation of companies with SAP software, the report evaluated 14 service providers for SAP solutions based on 23 selection criteria.<\/p>\n<p>Capgemini emerges from this assessment as one of the leading providers and is cited, among other things, for its \"long-standing track record in transformative SAP projects and ongoing SAP support\".<\/p>\n<p>The report also praises Capgemini's alignment of SAP practices to support clients with next-generation technologies such as Hana and cloud.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Top employer: SAP Switzerland<\/h3>\n<p>Once again this year, SAP Switzerland is one of the top ten best employers in Switzerland with a company size of over 250 employees, moving up four places to 5th place. This was the result of a study by the international research and consulting institute Great Place to Work.<\/p>\n<p>The employer award is presented annually and honors companies that show a high level of commitment to their employees and where employees therefore feel motivated, valued and supported.<\/p>\n<p>SAP Switzerland has now received the award for the second time since its first participation in the competition last year, underlining its attractiveness as an employer with this coveted award.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>Certified<\/h3>\n<p>Winshuttle Studio is an MS Windows-based desktop solution for the automated capture, validation and transfer of data between Excel and SAP. Studio v11 offers innovative product enhancements that support the promise of Hana to significantly accelerate business processes.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"Winshuttle Studio v11 brings all Studio modules together under one user interface. This makes the already simple operation even more convenient. Studio v11 thus enables users to complete their daily tasks even more efficiently\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>says Erin Stein, Senior FICO Technical Business Analyst at B. Braun Medical, a long-time user of Winshuttle solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\"As part of this certification, SAP and Winshuttle assure their joint customers of ideal interaction between Studio v11 and Hana,\" says Ralph Weiss, Country Manager D-A-CH at Winshuttle. \"This certification reflects our commitment to developing reliable and secure solutions for SAP environments.\"<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3>HPI gets IBM high-performance computer<\/h3>\n<p>IBM is providing the computer scientists at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) with a new high-performance computer with 96 cores and eight terabytes of main memory of the IBM Power System E880 type.<\/p>\n<p>The computer system was handed over by Wolfgang Wendt, VP Hardware Sales at IBM Systems Europe, during an HPI conference. With this commitment, IBM is expanding its long-standing collaboration with HPI. The American IT company and the Potsdam-based institute have been cooperating since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>In a feasibility study, both partners showed how the Hana in-memory database can be implemented on IBM Power computers, and IBM has also announced the funding of several doctoral scholarships for research into the analysis of huge amounts of data in real time.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No monthly SAP news should be disregarded.
