Rights and Royalties Management<\/h3>\n

Vistex, a global provider of software solutions for managing commercial, channel and vendor programs, awards, performance incentives, and rights and royalties, announced that SAP S\/4 Hana for Rights and Royalties Management by Vistex is now available.<\/p>\n

This is a centralized licensing solution for music, media, trademark licensing and all aspects of industrial property rights.<\/p>\n

This rights and royalty management solution is specifically designed for S\/4 Hana customers who require rights management, royalty, licensing or monetization of intellectual property.<\/p>\n

Multi cloud for steel group<\/h3>\n

Schmolz + Bickenbach, a specialist in special long steel, has commissioned QSC to consolidate and modernize its IT environment. In the first step, QSC will migrate various IT systems for four of the total of seven business units to its Pure Enterprise Cloud.<\/p>\n

This includes all central services and applications such as ERP, BPC, BI on Hana and hybrid Exchange systems. In the next step, the other business units, including various public cloud services, will follow.<\/p>\n

Schmolz + Bickenbach's goal is a secure, modern and flexible IT landscape that adapts dynamically to the course of business and with which the central IT systems can be consolidated.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the new cloud environment is intended to map the individual requirements of the business units and implement innovations more quickly within the Group.<\/p>\n

QuikDeploy for SolMan<\/h3>\n

Mindtree, a global digital transformation company, announced the availability of QuikDeploy, an IP-based approach that helps customers get the most value from SAP Solution Manager.<\/p>\n

This industry accelerator is tailor-made for the rapid deployment of SAP S\/4 Hana in the Microsoft Azure cloud. Many companies struggle to fully utilize the functionality of SAP Solution Manager, mainly because they lack the right skills and expertise. As a result, their S\/4 Hana implementations are slow to benefit from the tools provided by SAP.<\/p>\n

Mindtree introduces QuikDeploy to ensure organizations can start both their S\/4 and cloud journey using the Azure platform. As a central command console within an organization's SAP landscape, QuikDeploy simplifies and accelerates the deployment of SAP Solution Manager.<\/p>\n

The Azure-led solution is based on a flexible operating model that reduces the time, cost and effort required to effectively manage and operate SAP applications.<\/p>\n

Diakonie relies on S\/4 Hana<\/h3>\n

Orbis has introduced the SAP S\/4 Hana ERP suite at Diakonisches Werk an der Saar (Diakonie Saar). Thanks to the close, collaborative partnership between all parties involved, the implementation was completed quickly and the solution went live as planned at the beginning of 2019.<\/p>\n

The aim of Diakonie Saar is to use the new application suite to digitalize, simplify, streamline and optimise business processes and make the organizational structure more efficient.<\/p>\n

The social enterprise has already made significant progress in financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO), as well as in cash management. All data from financial accounting and controlling is now centralized in the Universal Journal.<\/p>\n

This creates a \"single source of truth\" for the financial processes, eliminating the need for time-consuming reconciliation between FI and CO.<\/p>\n

Innovative retail solutions<\/h3>\n

Allgeier Enterprise Services is bringing the future of shopping to life together with Livello. The food and tech start-up has developed a smart kiosk that fully automates the sale of food and other products with the help of various innovative technologies.<\/p>\n

This micro-market is available in different versions and is very easy to use. Users can simply log in to the respective kiosk using a debit, credit or customer card and the Livello app, open it and take the snack they want.<\/p>\n

Everything else runs in the background. The innovative point of sale uses sensors to record which goods have been removed. This information is transmitted to the ERP system, which then initiates billing and ensures that the goods are reordered in good time.<\/p>\n

New SAP certificate<\/h3>\n

Salt Solutions' Application Management Services (AMS) are among the first to receive the new DevOps certification from SAP. The SAP Gold Partner has already proven in the pilot project phase that it meets all quality requirements when working according to the increasingly popular DevOps approach.<\/p>\n

SAP has only recently created the certification for working according to DevOps methodology. As part of a pilot project, SALT Solutions was checked to see whether the AMS division works according to the principles of DevOps.<\/p>\n

The specialist department had to prove that it is able to provide stable systems, operate them according to DevOps principles and continuously develop them further. SALT Solutions also proved that its way of working leads to greater transparency, shorter lead times and continuous learning. This creates a culture of trust and openness.<\/p>\n

Pricing and condition management<\/h3>\n

Winshuttle has introduced the beta version of a flexible solution for pricing and conditions management (PCM). The software enables SAP pricing analysts to quickly and easily make price changes and automate processes in line with the company's approval guidelines.<\/p>\n

This enables companies to react more quickly to changing market dynamics and strengthen their competitiveness. Growing competition in e-commerce and rapidly changing market dynamics are increasing the pressure on manufacturers to be able to adjust their prices quickly.<\/p>\n

And the sharp increase in stock levels is driving the number of price changes to record levels. The use of the Winshuttle software is evidence of this data explosion, which is why those responsible took the opportunity to expand the range and depth of their current product range accordingly.<\/p>\n

iPaaS multifunctional platform<\/h3>\n

Software AG today announced webMethods.io: a multi-function iPaaS that combines the low-code usability of Built.io and the high level of control over complex integrations and APIs that webMethods Integration Cloud enables.<\/p>\n

With a set of over 300 connectors, webMethods.io integrates apps, data, APIs, B2B and IoT devices. webMethods.io is available on various cloud infrastructure platforms.<\/p>\n

Customers benefit from the advantages of a cloud implementation, such as cost efficiency, speed, security and flexibility, and do not have to worry about upgrades, maintenance or fixes themselves.<\/p>\n

Itesys receives ISO certification<\/h3>\n

Itesys receives the internationally recognized ISO\/IEC 27001 seal of approval. ISO\/IEC 27001 is the globally recognized standard for information security. It is based on an information security management system (ISMS) that protects confidential data, protects sensitive information from falsification and increases the availability of IT systems.<\/p>\n

The certification by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems SQS confirms that Itesys has a systematic and structured security concept that far exceeds the minimum legal requirements - and also achieves significantly more than standard corporate risk management.<\/p>\n

The certification was preceded by a process lasting several months, in which the necessary concept additions were made following a detailed inventory of all existing regulations, processes and guidelines as well as an analysis of the existing security risks. Itesys employees were trained and made aware of the new security concept.<\/p>\n
