Commenting on the \"National Industrial Strategy 2030\" presented by Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier, Bitkom President Achim Berg explains:<\/p>\n

\"We welcome the fact that German Economics Minister Peter Altmaier is addressing this issue. By his own admission, he has presented a 'first draft'. Measured against this, his 'Industrial Strategy 2030' is impressive in its thematic breadth. <\/em><\/p>

From Bitkom's perspective, the emphasis on the important role of platforms and artificial intelligence for Germany as an industrial location is particularly positive. However, the strategy leaves out founding activities, startups and data. <\/em><\/p>\n

From Bitkom's point of view, highly developed skills in the responsible use of data will lay the foundation for industry in 2030. The future of industry is digital, is based on data and thrives on young companies. A second markup should focus on these aspects.\"<\/em><\/p>\n
