By the end of 2018, it was already clear that the major global consulting firms would be fully booked until 2025.

Existing international SAP customers have bought up almost all resources and man-days. The only thing that will help here is a severe economic crisis, so that the SAP consulting market will change from a supply market (in a supply market, supply is lower than demand. The price rises. There is a supply deficit) to a demand market (In a demand market, also known as a buyer's market, demand determines supply. In this market situation, the price falls).

Falling consultant prices are to be wished for every existing SAP customer. One exit could be artificial intelligence: rule-based expert systems that do the transformation, evaluation and testing, testing, testing for the user.

And there are already SAP partners who can cushion the pain of a Hana and S/4 release change with AI tools and perhaps even avoid it.
