Together with ESL, SAP had already driven and developed the analysis of game data for the live broadcasts for the e-sports tournament \"ESL One Hamburg 2018\" in October.<\/p>\n

Through various data analyses, the viewers and commentators were given innovative clues to better understand the complexity of the game Dota 2 and the decisions of the pro gamers.<\/p>

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena, a form of real-time strategy game. The cooperation focuses on the hero selection of Dota 2.<\/p>\n

By analyzing match data from past professional matches, assessments and statistics can be displayed directly in the live broadcast. This gives viewers and commentators a direct insight and allows them to better understand certain selection criteria.<\/p>\n

With the help of Hana, large volumes of game data are processed and made available in customized analytics via the SAP Cloud Platform.<\/p>\n
