Together with SAP, the Mercedes EQ Formula E team will make its debut at the start of the 2019 season. Formula E is a racing series for formula cars with electric motors.<\/p>\n

SAP will support the Mercedes EQ factory team with back-office solutions and innovations based on SAP technology. SAP and the Mercedes EQ Formula E team engineers plan to develop technology solutions based on Hana that will help the crew analyze big data and monitor overall performance.<\/p>

As part of the joint development, engineers can also take advantage of other features and functions of the SAP Cloud Platform and Leonardo, the system for digital innovation.<\/p>\n

These include, for example, functions for the Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning, as well as forecasting functions.<\/p>\n
