Cloud deal worth millions<\/h3>\n
Infor, the provider of industry-specific cloud applications with modern design, has signed a ten-year cloud transformation agreement with Intersnack, the market leader in savory snacks and owner of 20 well-known brands.<\/p>\n
As part of the project, Infor will support processes of all Intersnack brands, including funny-frisch and \u00fcltje, across Europe to strengthen the market leader's digital transformation strategy and create a modern platform for further growth.<\/p>\n
Once the project is complete, the entire company will use Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage and 18 other Infor solutions. This will replace the Group's current 17 separate ERP systems, including several solutions from SAP and Oracle.<\/p>\n
Almost all important business applications will then come from Infor, including in the areas of enterprise resource planning, HR and talent management, risk, cost and performance management as well as business intelligence. Enterprise Asset Management, Customer Relationship Management, Purchasing and Logistics will also use Infor solutions.<\/p>\n

Cloud location Munich<\/h3>\n
2018 is set to be the year of the cloud for software manufacturer WMD. By moving archiving and other ECM functionalities to the cloud, companies are relieving the burden on their IT team and local systems.<\/p>\n

Faster invoice processing<\/h3>\n
Elix Polymers, a manufacturer of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) waxes and derivatives, is automating its accounts payable process with a solution from Esker.<\/p>\n
Elix Polymers wanted to optimize its supplier payments and chose Esker's cloud-based accounts payable solution to automate the annual volume of 8,000 invoices from 2,000 suppliers in Spain and North America.<\/p>\n
Previously, supplier invoices were processed manually, 75 percent of which were received by e-mail and 25 percent by post. Now, incoming invoices are scanned in batches and fed into an automated workflow.<\/p>\n
Esker's intelligent image recognition technology extracts data, identifies the relevant manager by supplier number and forwards the invoice for approval. Using machine learning, the Esker solution detects and corrects errors, prioritizes invoices and identifies which invoices need to be rejected and reviewed.<\/p>\n
Invoices with a purchase order reference and existing approval can be posted through automatically. The optimized process increases reliability and speeds up the processing of future invoices.<\/p>\n
