In the course of a recent study, IDC presents best practices and provides IT and business decision-makers with recommendations for the successful implementation of IoT initiatives.<\/p>\n

The tenor of the study: German companies want to overcome their teething problems in terms of IoT projects and are pursuing ambitious implementation plans for this year.<\/p>

However, a well thought-out technological approach is needed to be able to realize the plans. IoT platforms, connectivity, edge computing, security and blockchain have been identified as key drivers.<\/p>\n

Blockchain is an innovative way to improve the security of IoT data and, according to the study authors, should definitely be considered in IoT security concepts.<\/p>\n
