For example, three out of ten companies (28 percent) state that they have already used external consulting services to digitally transform their business. Another 15 percent say this step is currently planned.<\/p>\n

However, more than one in two companies (56 percent) sees no need for external help with digitization. This is the result of a representative survey of 505 companies with 20 or more employees commissioned by the digital association Bitkom.<\/p>

Compared with the previous year, this is a sharp increase in demand for digital consulting. Back then, only 21 percent of companies had indicated that they had already sought help, and only a further seven percent intended to do so.
