Some companies, for example, still use notes and pens to pick goods. In other companies, handheld scanners have replaced paper-based picking processes, but the question of the right technology arises here as well.<\/p>\n

Here, Arvato Systems offers, among other things, the combination of the \"Pick-by-Watch\" picking system and an innovative, cloud-based platform with which both internal and cross-company logistics processes can be orchestrated and executed on the move using smart wearables.<\/p>\n

The platform is equipped with standard interfaces, such as to an order-managing SAP EWM system. The use of smartwatches supports the picker with intelligent screen sequences while maintaining the efficiency of the workflow - because the picker has his hands free for the actual activity throughout.<\/p>\n
