The \"SAP Hana Innovation Award\" focuses on particularly innovative and outstanding achievements, which SAP honors with the award. The 2017 award was selected from around 150 candidates; a total of 25 companies were ultimately considered according to various criteria.<\/p>\n

This also applies to Suse, a long-standing SAP partner that has already received several awards from SAP. The (latest) SAP award is based on the features provided for the use of SAP Hana, which aim to achieve \"Towards Zero Downtime\".<\/p>

Specifically, as part of Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 12 for SAP Applications, Suse provides features that maximize Hana server uptime. In this context, SLES for SAP Applications ensures an improved Hana replication setup based on resource agents developed by Suse.<\/p>\n

At the same time, they provide increased error protection or automatic failover. Furthermore, Suse functionality makes it possible to perform SLES updates with virtually no downtime.<\/p>\n

The bottom line is that the Suse for SAP innovations offer the following benefits: increased operating services, optimized user services, and minimized operating effort\/costs.
