Building on initial projects at customers who have to plan logistics chains across multiple plants, a simulation capability is provided for supply chain managers.<\/p>\n

Starting from the nightly local MRP runs, an overall model is built up across all locations in the RAM of the add-on, in which the planned orders are converted into simulated production orders.<\/p>

Based on these production orders, capacity utilization deficits can be identified and material key figures such as capital commitment costs, base stock, inventory turnover can be determined.<\/p>\n

By means of dynamic pegging, a pegging tree can be generated for each sales order\/SD scheduling agreement call-off across all affected sites, whose deficits are shown in terms of material flow and capacity availability. CTP queries across all sites are possible.<\/p>\n

This information can be used to simulate alternative transport routes, alternative production versions and changes to the available capacity. The presented add-on is imported into the existing SAP systems by means of an SAP transport request.<\/p>\n

It can be used by selected users within a few weeks. Both operational tasks and strategic capacity simulations can be performed. In the strategic simulations, it proves to be an advantage that the SAP ERP S\/4 Hana model is used unchanged and interpreted in different discretizations. Furthermore, it is possible to simulatively include new resources and products with changed prices in the calculation.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
