Field Service Management<\/h4>\n
MobileX has won TenneT as a new customer for MobileX-Dispatch, the field service management solution for planning the deployment of field service technicians.<\/p>\n
TenneT is one of the leading transmission system operators for electricity in Europe with 41 million end consumers in the Netherlands and Germany.<\/p>\n
The aim of introducing the solution is to optimize the campaign planning of service assignments, including the helicopter flights of technicians to the German offshore grid connection systems in the North Sea, and to increase transparency and efficiency in the execution of the work.<\/p>\n
Previously, the ten dispatchers in Lehrte planned and managed the deployment of the 200 internal and external technicians and production resources using order data from SAP PM in Excel spreadsheets. Service assignments for the twelve German offshore grid connection systems are currently planned in 13 campaigns of two weeks each per year.<\/p>\n
This involves around 150 jobs per campaign, of which around 80 percent are standard maintenance and 20 percent are repairs.<\/p>\n

Hana Innovation Award<\/h4>\n
The Tuttlingen-based medical technology company Aesculap, a division of B. Braun Melsungen, was honored by SAP with this year's Hana Innovation Award in the Digital Trailblazer category.<\/p>\n
The Walldorf-based software company awards this prize to customers who develop particularly innovative solutions based on SAP technologies and have established them on the market.<\/p>\n
The prize was awarded to a digital service platform realized by IBsolution for Aesculap, which provides apps for various tasks in hospitals.<\/p>\n
Work aids that were previously mainly created manually are now automated, which has a positive effect on patient safety and the efficiency of work processes.<\/p>\n
One of the first applications, called \"TOM\" (Tray Organizing Manager), enables staff in sterile supply to quickly and easily arrange surgical instruments that differ depending on the type of procedure.<\/p>\n

Mobile service from the cloud at the touch of a button<\/h4>\n
MobileX is expanding its portfolio with the MobileX-ServiceCloud. This means that companies can now obtain the familiar on-premise solutions for deployment planning, mobileX-Dispatch and for the mobile connection of field service technicians, mobileX-MIP for Field Service and mobileX-CrossMIP as an SaaS solution.<\/p>\n
Customers receive the same proven functional scope of the solutions as with on-site provision, but save on the operation of the solution, can start faster and grow more flexibly with the requirements.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the certified interface concept, deployment in the MobileX Service Cloud can take place in the shortest possible time: A test environment for SAP ERP (CS\/PM), for example, is ready for operation within around three days thanks to the certified SAP add-on.<\/p>\n
Of course, other ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, NAV or Axapta can also be connected via standardized web services. Despite the cloud, the service data remains in the ERP system of the respective company.<\/p>\n

Snow Software will work closely with its partners on all aspects of sales and delivery - from the generation of new leads and contract design to product delivery and implementation.<\/p>\n

Store platform based on Hybris<\/h4>\n
Arithnea, an expert in digital business, has implemented a central online store platform based on Hybris Commerce for the chemical company Sika. It enables the globally active Swiss specialty chemicals company to quickly roll out and efficiently operate individual B2B stores in its main markets.<\/p>\n
The first two online stores have already gone live in Spain and the USA. The solution, which Sika calls the \"eShop Foundation\", is a responsive multistore platform that automatically adapts its content to the different conditions of desktop PCs, tablets and smartphones.<\/p>\n
The platform was created by Arithnea to provide a quickly implementable standard for Sika's international online stores.<\/p>\n

Optimization of billing blocks<\/h4>\n
To optimize the processing of billing blocks, Intense AG has developed the AMT, which enables central cross-process monitoring and the processing of several time-dependent billing blocks.<\/p>\n
The use of AMT results in the following advantages: Cost reduction through the time-dependent definition of billing blocks including reminder function, manual evaluations of the data stock with regard to billing blocks can be minimized.<\/p>\n
The option of mass blocking or unblocking can save time in operational processing. By increasing transparency and reducing the clarification effort through the multiple assignment of billing blocking reasons to a contract, the reality can be better mapped. This reduces manual clarification work and increases the ability to provide information in the event of customer queries.<\/p>\n
By increasing liquidity through a semi-automated reminder function when blocks expire, unnecessary termination of billing due to obsolete billing blocks can be prevented. This reduces the time required to invoice the contract construct and thus optimizes liquidity.<\/p>\n

Virtual Forge, a German company based in Heidelberg, is a renowned provider of IT security and compliance products for SAP environments; Dr. Fuchs Senior Advisors stands for neutral SAP management consulting.<\/p>\n
T\u00dcV S\u00dcD is thus expanding its cybersecurity portfolio and can offer its own customers high-quality services in the application security environment.<\/p>\n

Certification<\/h4>\n
Forcont, the software company specializing in enterprise content management, has now had its archiving solution Forarchive Archivmanager 7.0 certified by SAP for integration with SAP NetWeaver.<\/p>\n
The solution, which was originally developed as an archive component of the Forcont Factory Suite, can now also be used very well in SAP environments following certification and functions as an independent archive server for SAP ERP.<\/p>\n
Integration with NetWeaver is simple via the standardized SAP ArchiveLink interface. This means that the solution can be used simultaneously as an archive server for SAP and as an archive component of the Forcont applications for the audit-proof long-term archiving of data and documents.<\/p>\n
Stored SAP documents can be seamlessly integrated into the Forcont Factory Suite applications. The highly scalable archiving solution fulfills the increasingly strict legal and security-related regulations that companies are subject to today when storing their documents.<\/p>\n

Digital personnel dossiers<\/h4>\n
At the headquarters of the construction technology group Hilti, 1900 paper-based personnel dossiers were digitized with the support of Arcplace so that they could be transferred to the existing SAP system as searchable electronic PDF documents.<\/p>\n
The scanning specialists from Arcplace also supported the HR team at Hilti in defining the structure of the future digital personnel dossiers and the corresponding document types.<\/p>\n
So that the documents could be archived in a structured manner, the scan operator manually recorded the personnel number and document type for each document during the scanning process.<\/p>\n
After validation, a PDF\/A file with searchable content was generated for each document. At the end of the project, the digital personnel dossiers were transferred to an external hard disk, from which they could be easily entered into Hilti's SAP business process solution.<\/p>\n

SAP archiving<\/h4>\n
After a lengthy transition phase, the last KGS CAD content servers have now gone into operation at Trumpf. The globally active machine tool manufacturer with headquarters in Ditzingen is replacing its old OpenText system with the archive server and client software from KGS.<\/p>\n
The reason for the switch to the new SAP archive: significantly lower license costs with improved functionality at the same time. The KGS servers are operated under Red Hat Linux.<\/p>\n
As part of the project, software components for viewing, scanning, archiving and CAD data management were replaced. The changeover took place without any disruption to the daily work of the design engineers at Trumpf.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, all CAD documents are currently being migrated from the old to the new archive and the previous servers will then be switched off. In total, the company uses the KGS servers at 15 locations worldwide.<\/p>\n

BMWi supports Datavard innovation project<\/h4>\n
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) has accepted the software and consulting company Datavard into the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM).<\/p>\n
In doing so, the BMWi is supporting the expansion of the CanaryCode monitoring solution developed by Datavard and confirming its high level of innovation. The aim is to expand the software with cloud-based innovative functions such as integrated, dynamic real-time alerting for predictive damage prevention for SAP systems.<\/p>\n
The Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM) is a nationwide funding program of the BMWi that is open to all technologies and industries. It is aimed at SMEs and research institutions that work together with them.<\/p>\n
