Ariba and IBM announced a strategic partnership at Sapphire. The goal is to develop cognitive procurement solutions that will redefine the source-to-settle process from the ground up.<\/p>\n

Supported by SAP Leonardo, IBM Watson and Ariba, insights from purchasing data will be coupled with predictive information from unstructured information to improve decision quality in supplier, contract and purchasing management.<\/p>

As part of the partnership, IBM Global Business Services will provide consulting and business services to develop, implement and operate the new offerings along detailed roadmaps.<\/p>\n

Companies of all types should be able to reduce their costs and shorten their time-to-value.<\/p>\n

Working closely with Ariba, IBM will also enable its new and existing customers, including IBM Emptoris users, to leverage the SAP Ariba platform, where they will have access to comprehensive functionality and multiple source-to-settle offerings.<\/p>\n
