At the beginning of 2016, \"S\/4 Hana Finance On-Premise Edition\" was introduced to replace a legacy system that no longer met the Group's requirements.<\/p>\n

The new general ledger, reporting directly from the ACDOCA table, and thus the elimination of separate reports for FI-CO and PC reports are advantages that could be leveraged right from the introduction of S\/4 Hana Finance.<\/p>

\"Fullsize\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Fast, multidimensional reporting is possible without the use of business warehouses. The new asset accounting facilitates the evaluation according to different points of view and the improved evaluation of profitability is a welcome innovation.<\/p>\n

These innovations were easy to establish and put into production during the new rollout. This was supported by the use of Microsoft Azure as a cloud solution, which offers high agility in the infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Planning for the future<\/h3>\n

Now the plan is to migrate to S\/4 Enterprise Management (also referred to as S\/4core in the documentation). After the experience with S\/4 Hana Finance, Alegri will use version 1610 to benefit from the high maturity level.<\/p>\n

In addition to the improved functionality in Finance, S\/4 Enterprise Management also includes Materials Management & Operations (formerly known as Simple Logistics).<\/p>\n

Alegri also expects improvements from this - especially from the modernized data models in the SD area, the new material type \"SERV\", the resulting simplified handling and the business partner approach.<\/p>\n

The material number field length extension is seen as non-critical, as there have been no in-house developments in this area to date. Thus, Alegri is on the cutting edge of S\/4 Enterprise Management and can offer clients valuable practical and cutting-edge experience.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
