\"Turbine<\/a>These theoretical concepts will be brought to life at the DSAG Annual Congress at the booth of Atos, an international provider of digital services. Atos will be showing what the future will look like in the areas of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).<\/p>\n

At the Atos booth, predictive maintenance becomes reality: Visitors look through an augmented reality device at the turbine and see which components inside the machine need to be replaced and when.<\/p>

Thanks to the connection to all relevant merchandise management and logistics systems, necessary spare parts can be ordered from the nearest warehouse or, ideally, produced directly on site via 3D printing.<\/p>\n

Numerous technologies are incorporated into this scenario: Augmented Reality, Additive Manufacturing and SAP Predictive Analytics based on the Hana cloud platform.<\/p>\n

An important component in making Industry 4.0 a reality is the Atos Industrial IoT platform. It enables real-time online access to sensor data from machines and secures this data between downstream processes, applications or, for example, data analytics via secure access points.<\/p>\n
