It is well known that the topic of SAP security is increasingly becoming the focus of IT managers. However, it is proving to be multifaceted. An important resilience factor here is SAP certificate management. The main reason for this is that time windows for certificate renewals are becoming ever shorter. Certificates that have expired or are no longer valid can mean a virtual disaster for SAP deployment and thus massively jeopardize business continuity. SAP infrastructure\/basic automation solutions of the provenance SAP Certificate Management act as proven problem solvers here. As the automation specialist Empirius has announced, the SAP Certificate
management of the SAP automation suite Epos (currently 24 apps) with effective new features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rise readiness also in view<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main thrust is therefore the result of customer surveys, according to which SAP users want one thing above all: \u201eTo have to worry about as little as possible when using a needs-based automated SAP certificate management solution.\u201c According to Empirius, this is achieved through a fully automated workflow for certificate renewals before expiration dates. Certificate requests, receipt of certificates, validations and installations in target systems can now be carried out at the touch of a button without manual intervention and in an automated process.<\/p>

Integrated jobs as guiding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight in the upcoming version of the Epos app SAP Certificate Management according to the company: integrated step sequences\/jobs as a kind of guide. From Mode Selection to Select Certificate, Truth Action, Config Review and Execute.
The core functions of the app are still certificate monitoring with alerting, requesting and importing new certificates, checking and replacing certificates and deleting certificates that are no longer valid. Everything is highly automated and geared towards SAP
environments with corresponding benefits such as cost and time savings or the use of best-practice processes.
According to the company, there are plans to expand certificate management to include the integration of non-SAP systems. The company is also working on further developing the Epos SAP Certificate Management app in the direction of \u201erise readiness\u201c. Availability of the new solution is planned for Q2.
