CeBIT 2017 offers an optimal platform to comprehensively position S\/4 Hana in the cloud, the new generation of SAP ERP software.<\/p>\n

The cloud-based ERP suite uses an innovative architecture based on in-memory technology and offers contextual analytics, a digital assistant, machine learning and the Fiori user interface.<\/p>

S\/4 Hana Cloud contains quickly activatable functions for digital business processes in various industries and business areas. Since the entry costs for a cloud ERP solution are significantly lower than for on-premise ERP solutions, the cloud version is also interesting for small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/p>\n

The new release of S\/4 Hana Cloud thus allows customers to accelerate their digital transformation and make business processes more efficient through greater transparency, automation and quality.<\/p>\n

SAP's planned quarterly updates consist of setup wizards that are getting smarter through machine learning and AI, predefined settings that are easy to customize, and additional cloud-to-cloud integration and external programming interfaces to integrate with other applications and legacy systems.<\/p>\n

In addition, SAP has unveiled detailed plans for blockchain capabilities to implement digital cash ledgers - as a key new topic for financial services, it will also be the focus of many discussions at CeBIT.<\/p>\n
