The name change of the Fujitsu Platform Business to Fsas Technologies is part of a global strategy that was already implemented in Japan on April 1, 2024. There, the server and storage divisions were merged to form the new subsidiary Fsas Technologies Inc. The company is wholly owned by Fujitsu Limited and operates with a clear focus on data center technology and related services - and in-depth expertise in the SAP environment. The renaming to Fsas Technologies is also accompanied by a structural and strategic realignment. The aim is to give the data center business more visibility and weight overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data center in focus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fujitsu had already taken an important step the year before and discontinued its end device business in Europe. This paved the way for a clearer focus on data center solutions and the associated services - including our expertise in the support and optimization of SAP landscapes. The current renaming marks the next milestone in this transformation - not only in terms of name, but also in the Group structure. In future, the product portfolio, communication and strategic focus will be tailored even more precisely to the needs of the markets and sales partners.<\/p>

Separation of hardware and service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Fujitsu brand is not disappearing from the European market. Rather, it is a clear separation of two lines of business.
While the hardware business will operate under the name Fsas Technologies GmbH in future, Fujitsu Germany GmbH will remain an independent company. It will continue to offer software solutions and services - such as intelligent inspection with AI for the manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New branding, proven service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For customers and partners, the cooperation will continue as usual. We will continue to invest in a future-proof portfolio and continue the legacy of Japanese innovation and quality. Changes will only affect branding and, in the long term, the visual design of products and marketing materials. The reorganization will have no impact on existing partnerships or service quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, the European platform will focus even more strongly on data center solutions in the future - with a clear, transparent roadmap supported by global and local experts. This also applies to SAP services, which Fsas Technologies intends to continuously develop and adapt to the needs of its customers. In-house research and development resources and local services will continue to ensure an excellent customer experience and rapid technology adaptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well-known brand in Japan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fsas Technologies is no stranger to Japan. Fsas is already established there as a leading provider of maintenance services. Originally Fsas stood for \"Fujitsu Services and Support\", but today it is an independent brand that stands for quality, stability and technical excellence. The addition of the term \"Technologies\" reflects our expanded focus as a platform provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This transformation is an expression of our long-term commitment to quality and innovation. Fsas Technologies is investing in a future-proof portfolio to carry on the Japanese legacy of technological excellence and ensure long-term customer value. The company emphasizes that the renaming will not affect existing contracts, contacts or partnerships. The core of the business - the employees, products and brands - will be retained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fujitsu is intensifying its specialization in data center solutions with Fsas Technologies and is developing a clear, communicative and future-oriented product roadmap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More local, better coordinated<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Localization is also at the heart of the new strategy. Local solutions, developed by European teams with in-depth market knowledge, are to be given even greater prominence in future. At the same time, the advantages of internal competence centers will be highlighted - for example in research and development (R&D) and product-related services (PRS). This in-house expertise not only enables shorter innovation cycles and better service, but also greater cost efficiency, which has a positive impact on competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus on technology partnerships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the course of the realignment, the importance of strategic technology partnerships - such as the one with Suse - remains high.
Fsas Technologies, as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Fujitsu Group, will continue to rely on a strong network of partners to provide innovative data center solutions and related services. For Fujitsu and Fsas Technologies' technology partners, nothing will change in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
