The document gathers the opinions of more than 4800 internet banking customers from Spain, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the introduction of digital currencies issued by central banks is progressing, they are penetrating the markets - causing concern among citizens and industry players, as it is difficult to predict their impact on the global payment system. Despite these obstacles, central banks agree on the relevance, feasibility, viability and impact of CBDC, with motivations varying from country to country and region to region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
