Specifically, Genesys is expanding its existing functions to include in-depth analyses of the customer journey. Instead of looking at individual interactions, companies can now visualize the customer journey from start to finish across multiple channels and in real time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n With the new solution, Genesys supports companies in gaining deeper insights into customer behavior, from which the operational KPIs for digital channels and voice channels are determined. In this way, customer satisfaction can be increased and business KPIs such as first contact rate, self-service rate and service costs can be improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Over the past two years, q.beyond has halved its CO\u2082 emissions, bringing it closer to its goal of climate neutrality by 2025. The IT service provider is now taking further measures to consolidate this success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n For example, largely eliminating air travel within Germany and using rail as the primary means of transportation will significantly reduce CO\u2082 emissions on business trips. In addition, the company will completely convert its company car fleet to e-cars over the next three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Many companies are actively driving digitalization forward. However, the topic of cyber security is being neglected. This was confirmed by 73% of the IT decision-makers surveyed in Germany in a recent study by CyberArk. Companies give different reasons for not investing in security. Common statements are: \"We are already protected enough, for example by perimeter protection\"; \"What should happen? We're too small and therefore not interesting for hackers.\"; \"Nothing has happened yet.\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n These assessments do not do justice to the current IT security situation. Companies should therefore pursue an identity-based security strategy that takes all users, systems, applications and processes into account. Important aspects here are Zero Trust, Least Privilege and MFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e. V. presents a comprehensive definition of the much-discussed metaverse term. In addition, the BVDW's Metaverse department has formulated demands for politics and business in order to achieve a pioneering role for Germany in Web 3.0. According to the BVDW, one thing is needed above all to make the ultimate vision of the metaverse as a decentralized, interoperable and stable ecosystem a reality in Germany: a sensible and functioning digital infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the department's demands is therefore clear: if Germany wants to play a pioneering role in the metaverse, politicians must quickly provide the necessary infrastructure. Fiber optic cables, a 5G network and powerful servers are only part of the picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Inflexible pricing, management tools that don't give users the control they need, and data being stored outside of where it's needed increase the cost companies pay annually for their cloud usage by around 35 percent. This is the result of a study by Couchbase, according to which companies spend an average of more than 33 million US dollars per year on cloud services. They could save around 8.75 million dollars of this if cloud providers could solve the challenges faced by users or at least meet their expectations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n More than a third (36%) of companies stated that the cloud services introduced in the past three years have not met expectations. Around 56 percent said that previous cloud decisions had made their digital transformation more difficult, while 48 percent complained of higher costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The globally active American chemical group Celanese has converted its entire production and warehouse logistics at its Forli site in Italy to SAP. The Italian subsidiary of CNT Management Consulting was the partner responsible for the project. The listed US company operates the largest European compounding center for chemical and pharmaceutical products in Forli (near Ravenna). Due to its strong growth, it was necessary to digitalize the entire project management. This affected all processes in production and in the warehouse, some of which were previously still handled manually and often on paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n CNT Italy brought the necessary SAP know-how and language skills to the project in order to quickly implement the roll-out with the Italian users. Connected Truck creates a direct link between the truck driver and the control center. This is a decisive advantage for route planning and the backflushing of bulk deliveries; all parties involved receive a holistic overview of the entire process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Jamf has launched Jamf Safe Internet for K-12 education customers. The extension is designed to help schools protect minors from harmful content online. Jamf Save Internet allows administrators to enforce usage policies that ensure responsible use without compromising the learning experience on Apple devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n By integrating filtering technologies and network threat prevention capabilities, Jamf Safe Internet is the only Apple-focused cybersecurity solution for education that ensures students can safely navigate the web. Jamf Safe Internet respects student privacy by emphasizing the principles of prevention over control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Celigo, a global provider of an enterprise integration platform as a service for the midmarket, recently announced that its Amazon MWS (Marketplace Web Services) integration for SAP Business ByDesign is now available in the SAP Store. The solution enables both IT and non-IT users to set up and manage order-to-cash automations between the Business ByDesign solution and Amazon MWS, helping to optimize customer experiences and e-commerce operations in existing SAP companies without media discontinuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The rise of cloud computing and the increased popularity of remote working due to the coronavirus pandemic have made managing the security of information systems more complex. Fraud attempts, ransomware and other cyber attacks are on the rise. The high popularity of ransomware is not particularly surprising: very few hackers are politically motivated or want to cause damage just for the sake of it. They want to make a quick buck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n With ransomware, they have a relatively easy-to-use tool that promises them a good chance of success. Attacks today are as much a data problem as a financial one. Modern data analytics help IT managers turn their biggest challenge - massive and growing amounts of data - into their strongest weapon in the fight against cybercriminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCyber attacks are on the rise. Development teams can save time and resources with the fully managed service by bundling processes such as setup configuration, synchronization and ongoing management of backend services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Natuvion's experts have been successfully supporting the operation and further development of the energy industry SAP platform at Stadtwerke D\u00fcsseldorf for several years. In preparation for the digital platform change to S\/4 Hana Utilities, the framework contract was re-awarded - Natuvion was once again able to impress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n A new study by Trend Micro shows that improved security and data protection functions are the main motive for the expansion of private 5G networks. Flowmon enables this type of monitoring through the newly introduced support for native flow logs from Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, as well as extended support for flow logs from AWS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, companies can reduce their costs for traffic mirroring - i.e. copying and forwarding network traffic to applications for monitoring - by avoiding the use of integrated monitoring tools from cloud providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Circle Unlimited is part of Valantic. The range of solutions includes the SAP-integrated contract management software cuContract, which has been awarded the BMEnet seal of approval for the seventh time in a row. The solution fulfilled 100 percent of all mandatory and optional test criteria as part of the BMEnet test procedure. cuContract helps users to keep their contracts, contract-related documents, deadlines and time limits under control throughout the entire life cycle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n From contract creation to archiving, users therefore maintain an overview and always remain compliant. The sharp increase in attacks shows that emails are still the main gateway for cyberattacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This data was collected over the course of 2021 from security products that complement native protection in collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. On a positive note, ransomware detections have decreased by 43 percent compared to the previous year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christian Pfeiffer, the northern German specialist for grinding processes and granulation methods in mining, will be mapping all of its mechanical engineering projects in an ERP system from SAP in future. This is made possible by the expertise of Vienna-based SAP consultant CNT Management Consulting, which has been supporting the transformation process since 2021. The central challenge of the SAP project was to address the special features of the special machine manufacturer. To do this, the CNT team first had to understand the complex and often very individual process from initial customer contact to internal project completion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Another requirement was to provide the project managers with a tool for commercial project management in order to ensure ongoing budget and cost control over the entire duration of the project.
