In the E-3 cartoon, the characters \"R\/3\" are engraved in stone and Sisyphus is standing in front of a barrier and has to pay tolls. SAP's existing customers are subject to the hardship of eternal release upgrades. But they also have to pay an annual maintenance fee forever - in the cloud this is called a subscription (a kind of toll without rights).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
