The Heidelberg-based company will carry out the transformation using its own CrystalBridge data migration platform and its own resources. However, the concrete, practical design of this is often still a gray area and complicates the situation for companies, but ultimately also for users. The BVDW guidelines from the \"Consent Management\" working group in the Data Economy department are intended to provide concrete assistance, for example with regard to the scope for designing corresponding banners. The guideline also addresses the hurdles of using the systems of consent management platform providers, particularly in the area of processing personal data. In 2000, mega deals were still designed to last almost eight years on average. Today, the average duration is less than five years. In general, the industry has seen a trend towards not only shorter but also smaller contracts over the past twenty years - in a growing market overall. The annual contract value (ACV) for mega deals also follows this pattern. Three years ago, mega deals still accounted for 20 percent of the ACV of the entire IT services market. Today, it is only around twelve percent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This decline is not only due to the fact that ACV has decreased from mega deals. It is also due to the fact that the ACV pie has become bigger overall. For example, the ACV for managed services increased by 16% in 2021 compared to the previous year. A large part of this growth comes from contracts with an ACV of less than 20 million US dollars. These smaller deals now form the backbone of the IT services industry, underpinning the general paradigm shift in the sector. This was reported by the Information Services Group (ISG) on the basis of its own market figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"409\" src=\"https:\/\/e3mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Index-Insider-Grafik_DE_220314_800.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-115358\" srcset=\"https:\/\/e3mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Index-Insider-Grafik_DE_220314_800.jpg 800w, https:\/\/e3mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Index-Insider-Grafik_DE_220314_800-768x393.jpg 768w, https:\/\/e3mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Index-Insider-Grafik_DE_220314_800-100x51.jpg 100w, https:\/\/e3mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Index-Insider-Grafik_DE_220314_800-480x245.jpg 480w, https:\/\/e3mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Index-Insider-Grafik_DE_220314_800-640x327.jpg 640w, https:\/\/e3mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Index-Insider-Grafik_DE_220314_800-720x368.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>

IT services: The duration of mega-deals from 2000 to 2021 has become significantly shorter.
