This is one of the key findings of the \"Trends in Process Improvement and Data Execution\" study. The survey was conducted by Forrester Consulting. According to the study, more and more executives are therefore turning to process mining to gain valid insights into actual company processes through the better use of data: 61 percent of the decision-makers surveyed rated process mining as the most important technology for improving business processes and plan to use or evaluate it in the next twelve months. The technology gives them better insights into interlocking processes and the chance to eliminate inefficiencies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Processes along the supply chain are just as much a part of this as customer service. In these areas, numerous systems such as enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, IT service management and spreadsheets are intertwined. 90 percent of companies that use process mining are confident that they will achieve their process improvement goals this year. \"Process weaknesses are the secret efficiency killers of a company. And they only become visible with process mining\".<\/em>says Professor Wil van der Aalst, Chief Scientist at Celonis. \"Companies that identify and eliminate these inefficiencies not only improve their results, but also gain the flexibility they need to respond quickly to disruptive economic developments.\"<\/em><\/p>
