Guido Hinricher accepted three Windhoff laptops on behalf of the sponsoring association of the Montessori children's home (MoKi) in Coesfeld. The Coesfeld native made a double appearance at the event. In addition to his role as a MoKi board member, he also works as a consultant for the IT service provider. FIS once again passes the SAP certification as a Partner Center of Expertise via Compact Audit, which was extended in October 2021 until April 2024. Numerous internal projects laid the foundation for the early certification of FIS. These include the implementation of a support process based on the ITIL quality standard with evaluations in the SAP Analytics Cloud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the consistent implementation of the high SAP requirements for critical quality indicators such as expertise, processes and infrastructure were also key to the successful Compact Audit certification. FIS has been certified as a Partner Center of Expertise since 2011. The PCoE Compact Audit was applied to selected SAP partners for the first time in 2019 and will be regularly integrated into the SAP PCoE audit process from 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Removing obstacles for women<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Digital education continues to be a major challenge in Austria. There is a shortage of 24,000 skilled workers in the IT sector in this country. At the same time, the proportion of women is stagnating. It is precisely for these reasons that skilling is one of the four pillars of Microsoft's \"Make tomorrow possible today\" initiative. With this in mind, Microsoft, the Enterprise Training Center (ETC) and the association #thenewITgirls are joining forces to reduce barriers to entry for female career changers with a compact and affordable program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The digital training program - #thenewITgirls Boost Camp (em)powered by Skill Campus offers 100 places. It is aimed at all women with a digital affinity and an interest in technology who are interested in a career change into IT and are looking to exchange ideas with female role models in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Less congestion and emissions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Delays in the supply chain are currently causing increased disruption, shortages of goods and cost explosions around the globe. The Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) has now taken a decisive step to ensure greater sustainability and efficiency in traffic management. At the heart of the solution is the use of Fujitsu's quantum-inspired technology to speed up the flow of goods and thus reduce congestion and the associated emissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In collaboration with Fujitsu, the HPA analyzed and explored the potential of the Digital Annealer for this goal. The focus was on the use of quantum-inspired technology and its services in conjunction with the relevant traffic data to optimize the traffic flow in delivery traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
SAP implemented with Consilio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Until now, planning tanks as part of production planning in SAP systems was complex and could usually only be mapped using specific customer solutions. SAP is now addressing this issue with the support of its partner Consilio and creating a basis for including storage and process tanks in planning. The first roadmap milestones on the way to integrated tank planning in S\/4 Manufacturing for Planning and Scheduling have already been reached. For example, new functions have been added to the detailed planning board and the product planning board. The main challenge for Consilio's developers during implementation was to technically realize the complexity and dependencies of the requirements within the SAP system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you say digital purchase, you also have to say pay. Anything else would be inconsistent, wouldn't it? Consequently, Ypsomed now also uses AFI Invoice for the electronic processing of incoming invoices. Prior to this, the Swiss medical technology company had already introduced AFI solutions for the digital processing of outgoing orders as well as incoming order confirmations. On average, Ypsomed receives 25,000 incoming invoices per year, 70 percent of which are still received on paper. Digital action was therefore urgently needed. It is also smart to think about data quality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This is because the AFI Confirmation solution, which had already been introduced, ensured that the data quality of incoming invoices at Ypsomed increased thanks to the digital as well as transparent processing of order confirmations. It should also not be underestimated that the 360-degree overview of the AFI Monitor is available in all three solutions: Accounting and Purchasing benefit equally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Arvato Systems' product serialization solutions make it possible: the Swiss company Emmi can now track its own products worldwide along the entire value chain and at the same time secure its business in the strategically important Russian market in the long term. Since summer 2021, dairy products must comply with complex traceability and serialization regulations for import into Russia. A regulation that either already applies or will soon apply to numerous other consumer products. Emmi currently exports more than 100 different products to Russia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n These products, which are distributed in Russia via an exclusive importer, come from various automated production facilities within Switzerland. The newly introduced serialization solution from Arvato Systems fits seamlessly into these complex production and logistics processes. The complete solution implemented with Arvato Systems works on the basis of a customized SaaS (Software as a Service) setup. During production, for example, each wheel of cheese is labeled with a data matrix code that makes it unique. This code meets all the requirements for export to Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Gisa is supporting Stadtwerke Gie\u00dfen in implementing the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with the help of SAP ILM. The aim is to identify where personal data is contained in the utility's SAP IS-U system and what steps are necessary to delete it in a legally compliant manner. Using the \"Database Analyzer Plus\" from PBS Software, Gisa first illustrated to Stadtwerke Gie\u00dfen which tables contain personal data, which tables are assigned to archiving objects and which archiving objects are required to ultimately delete the master data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to blocking and deleting relevant data, the project also provided for access to archived data using PBS indices. SAP ILM was then implemented in a sandbox system. In the future, Gisa will also train the employees of the municipal utility company in the operation of the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n SAP has been recognized by the international organization CDP as a leader in environmental transparency and action. SAP has once again achieved a place on the A-list of the leading company in environmental reporting, consolidating last year's result. The ranking comes just weeks after SAP was listed as a leader in the software industry in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the 15th consecutive year. This underlines SAP's pioneering role in the areas of environmental, social and governance (ESG). <\/p>\n\n\n\n SAP offers a range of software applications and technologies that help companies to operate more sustainably. For example, SAP Product Footprint Management enables companies to record the ecological footprint of products throughout the entire value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n OwnCloud, provider of the open source-based collaboration platform of the same name, and Plusserver, German multi-cloud data service provider, are entering into a strategic technology partnership. If you want to enjoy the benefits of the cloud and still retain complete control over your data, there is no way around hosting your own cloud service. If the necessary infrastructure and operation are not to be provided in your own data center, an as-a-service model is a good choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of their strategic partnership, OwnCloud and Plusserver will provide companies and the public sector with such a scalable complete package. OwnCloud Infinite Scale (oCIS) will cover the entire application stack relating to content and collaboration. Hosting, including cloud storage, will be provided by Plusserver. Test operations have already begun and the first commercial offers will be available shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the fifth time in a row, MobileX is one of the top employers for medium-sized companies in Germany. This is the result of a study conducted on behalf of Focus-Business. According to the study, MobileX is once again one of the most popular medium-sized employers in Germany in 2022 and is ranked 244th out of 896 award-winning companies in the EDP & IT category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Thomas Gard, CEO of Orbis AG, explained that Orbis is increasingly active in other European countries with its own market development. This was the conclusion reached by market researchers L\u00fcnendonk & Hossenfelder in their latest ranking, which examines the 20 leading German IT consultants. The ranking is part of the L\u00fcnendonk Study 2021 \"The Market for IT Consulting and IT Service in Germany\". The study describes the market structure and ventures a retrospective and outlook on the development of the IT services market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To this end, the analysts surveyed 100 IT service providers and over 140 user companies in order to mirror the responses from the supply side with those from the demand side. The result was a comprehensive study of the IT market in Germany, its structure, and trends and developments from the perspective of IT service providers and user companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the latest PwC \"2021 Global Consumer Insights\" study, three out of five consumers (61%) are optimistic about the future. They are increasingly shopping in stores again, leisure activities are moving outside their own four walls again and travel planning is also picking up speed. The survey of 9370 consumers in 26 countries revealed that vaccinated people are much more positive about the Covid-19 situation in their country than unvaccinated people: 66% of at least partially vaccinated respondents are optimistic, compared to 43% of unvaccinated respondents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The form of work also has an influence on how the Covid-19 situation is perceived: Those who work from home or are able to perform a hybrid form of work are ten percentage points (68%) more optimistic than their colleagues who do not work from home (58%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Apsolut has once again performed very well in the annual Top SME Employers 2022 study conducted by Focus-Business, taking 60th place out of 414 award-winning companies in the Consulting category.
